Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 520

When Darren saw Victoria run out, he chased after her. But before he left, he looked at Natalie, never imagining that the Ward Group’s fortune would one day fall into her hands.

How ironic. How utterly ridiculous.

Hanley, seeing his grandmother and father leave, ran after them.

“Grandma, Daddy, wait for me!”

Mrs. Lockwood watched them go and said with a smile, “I bet none of the Cross family, young or old, ever thought the Ward Group’s assets would end up with you. They’re all having a meltdown!”

Natalie knew Victoria’s preferential treatment of Marie was all because she was Ms. Ward. All Victoria ever wanted was the Ward family’s money.

She must be feeling absolutely miserable right now.

Good. They all deserved to feel as miserable as she once had.

“This is fine,” Natalie said.

She turned back to Mr. Ward, lying in the hospital bed. As soon as he woke up, all of this would be over.

Marie would get the punishment she deserved.

Terence looked at Natalie. “You saved his life.”

“He’s not even awake yet,” Natalie replied. “How can you be so sure I saved him?”

Terence’s gaze was firm. “Because I believe in your skills as a doctor.”

Natalie felt a little awkward. “You believe in me, even though I couldn’t help you walk again?”

Terence’s expression became even more awkward than hers.

“I… I just trust you. Unconditionally.”

Mrs. Lockwood, watching from the side, found this amusing.

Her son was capable of looking awkward? Now she’d seen everything.

Natalie smiled. “I never knew you were such a morale booster, Mr. Lockwood.”

“That part of him is reserved exclusively for you!” Mrs. Lockwood added with a sly grin.

Natalie stood frozen, unsure if she should approach him.

Was he bringing her flowers?

Mrs. Lockwood walked over. “What are you doing here, little one?”

Though Hanley had lied and framed Terence before, Mrs. Lockwood wasn’t hostile toward him, mainly for Natalie’s sake.

“I came to apologize to my mommy.”

Hanley then looked directly at Natalie. “Mommy, I’m sorry. I was wrong. I bought these flowers to apologize to you. I hope you can accept my apology.”

Hadn’t he just left? Why would he suddenly go buy flowers?

Natalie’s eyes were cool as she said, “You can’t just hurt someone and expect to be forgiven after saying you’re sorry.”

She had told him she was severing their mother-son relationship.

Hanley grew flustered. “Mommy, I know… I know you won’t forgive me, but I hope you’ll take my flowers. I’ve never seen you receive flowers before, but I know you always wished Daddy would give you some. So let me be the one. Please let me give you this bouquet.”
