The cake tumbled to the floor, splattering into a mess. Liana stared at the ruin of what she had spent so long creating.

Her heart ached, and her eyes welled up with tears as she looked at the furious woman.

Why was the pretty lady so angry? Did she not like cake? But that day, when she helped her with the math problem, she had been so gentle.
