My heart was still racing despite the kiss ending minutes ago. I can still feel his soft lips brushing against mine. I can’t believe I did that reckless action in front of my ex–husband and his first love.
It hadn’t been a few minutes since we left the premises of my old marital house when Hunter suddenly grabbed me and pulled me up to lap. He quickly snaked his arm around me to lock me up in that position.
“Hey! Somebody’s in here!” I hissed, my eyes widening in panic as I tried to look over my shoulder in fear that the driver of the car was watching us.
“He wouldn’t dare so much as glance this way–unless he’s in a hurry to lose his head,” he said coolly. He then gently pulled my nape for another kiss when I quickly placed my finger over his lips, stopping him from doing so.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked, raising my eyebrow.
He smirked, mischief dancing in his eyes. “Continuing what you started,” he said in a low, teasing drawl.
I squinted at him in warning. “No. That was just to calm the situation down, not an invitation for anything else.”
He tilted his head, eyebrows lifting with an amused glint. “Is that so?” he murmured, his voice dropping to a husky whisper.
Before I could back away, he tightened his grip on my waist, drawing me closer until I could feel the hard evidence of his desire pressing firmly against me. I gasped, my breath catching in my throat.
His lips brushed against my ear, his words sending a shiver down my spine. “Then maybe you can help calm this down too?” he said, his voice rich with wicked heat.
My heart raced wildly in my chest as I struggled to keep my composure. I should pull away–I knew I should -but the way his eyes locked onto mine made my legs feel weak and my resistance start to crack.
My breath hitched as his lips grazed the edge of my ear, the heat of his body wrapping around me like a storm I couldn’t run from. My fingers gripped the fabric of his shirt, more for balance than anything else, because right then, the world seemed to tilt.
“Hunter…” I tried again, my voice trembling between warning and something else I didn’t want to admit.
“You’re giving me a slow death whenever you moan my name,” he murmured, his lips now brushing against my jaw. “I can’t wait to hear you scream my name as soon as I fck you.”
I closed my eyes for a beat, trying to will my pulse to slow, trying to remember why I needed to stop this. But he was so close, so warm, and the scent of him was fogging up my every thought,
My hands, traitorous as they were, slid up his chest. “YW–we shouldn’t be doing this,” I whispered.
He chuckled low, his chest vibrating beneath my palms. “And yet we are here.”

Chapter 27
My throat went dry as soon as I felt his callous hand brushing against my thigh. He deliberately opened his thighs widely, causing mine to do the same as I was straddling him. My breathing becomes heavy with too much anticipation as I patiently wait for his next move. I gulped when his hand found its goal and finally settled on top of my center.
I clenched his shirt when his finger started running along my slit. The thin fabric of my clothes was not enough to stop the heat coming from his insolent hand.
“S–Stop…” I uttered in between heavy breathing.
“No, little dove. This is your punishment,” he replied before sliding his hand into my pants.
I flinched as soon as I felt his warm hand settle on my clit. I bit my lower lip, trying to stop myself from making any noise, but his fingers that started to play with the center were making it hard for me to do so.
“H–Hunter…please…” I pleaded, not sure what I was pleading for.
“Please what, little dove?” he teased, despite knowing exactly what I wanted.

“S–Stop it…” I lied. That’s not what my body wanted, but my mind knows this isn’t right, and we should stop this insanity this instant.
“You and your pretty little lying mouth. What should I do to you, my little dove?” And without a warning, he slid his two fingers inside me, sending bolts of electricity through every nerve in my body.
“Fck—aaahhh!” I cursed loudly. I can feel my cheeks burning in embarrassment. How can he do that with somebody else with us inside this car? I hid my face against the burrow of his neck in embarrassment. And to prevent myself from making any more sound, I bit his shoulder to muffle myself.
“Holy f*ck! Ahhh,” Hunter groaned, his voice rough and thick with pleasure as I sank my teeth into the curve of his shoulder.
I froze, breath caught in my throat, half expecting him to shove me away in anger. But instead of fury, a deep. almost feral sound rumbled from his chest. A low growl that sent a thrill through me. His hand gripped my thigh tighter, like the pain had only fueled the fire between us.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that,” I whispered against his skin, my voice shaky, unsure.
Hunter let out a dark chuckle, one that made the back of my neck tingle. “You don’t have to. My body is yours. You can do whatever you want with it.”
My cheeks were still burning, my heart racing so fast I could feel it pounding against his chest. I should’ve been embarrassed–but I wasn’t. Not anymore. There was something addictive about the way he responded to me, the way he let me touch the chaos in him and answered it with more fire.
I looked in his eyes, and I saw his eyes burning in desire. The fire continued to burn as he started moving his fingers inside me once again. His long, callous fingers started thrusting inside me, filling me up into my core.
“Oh…fck…please, I–I can’t…” I whispered as I buried my face against his neck once again. But instead of stopping, he moved even faster than before, sending my body into a turmoil of illicit desires. “S–Slower, please…I–I can’t take it anymore…” To stop myself from moaning, I bit his shoulder once again. This time, I don’t care whether I’m hurting him or not I needed someth to cumpress myself to keen myself from

further embarrassment.
One final swift move of his fingers inside me and my body convulses in too much intensity. My body tensed, overwhelmed by a rush of sensation so strong it left me breathless. I clutched his shirt tightly, my forehead pressed against his shoulder as I slowly released my bite from his shoulder. I tried to steady myself, heart racing, breaths shallow. It felt like the world had gone still–like time itself had paused to watch me fall apart
in his arms.
Hunter didn’t say a word. He just held me closer, one arm wrapped securely around my waist, the other brushing gentle circles on my back. His touch had gone from possessive to tender, almost reverent, as if he knew exactly what I needed in that moment.
The car was still moving, but in that moment, the world outside didn’t exist. Just the thrum of our breath, the fire still crackling between us, and the way his lips brushed the shell of my ear as he spoke again.
“You taste so sweet,” Hunter whispered, his voice dipped low, heavy with something dark and possessive that made my skin erupt in goosebumps.
My breath caught as I lifted my gaze to him–only to see him slowly licking my essence from his fingers, as if savoring the last drop of something he’d craved for far too long. The sight was almost too much. I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry and tight.
Panic flickered in me, and I quickly darted my eyes toward the front seat. The driver was still there, silent and still, eyes locked on the road ahead. His expression was unreadable, his posture rigid. It was as if he had trained himself to ignore everything behind him, no matter what unfolded.
I wasn’t sure if I should feel relieved or sink into the seat from sheer mortification.
My cheeks burned, and I looked away, heart hammering in my chest. Every nerve in my body was still thrumming, alive with the memory of what just happened.
