Belladonna
Life within the Alpha council grounds was interesting. No day was the same as the next and Bella’s belly grew by the day. She found herself smiling happily down at her growing belly. Her son was going to be good and strong. She had yet to pick a name, though Freya had told her it was Bella’s pup, so to choose on her own.
Bella had chuckled softly and reminded Freya that they were one and the same, not separate, so her pup was Freya’s pup. Frayer and reminded her that she had never let Vex mate her.
She was adamant that it was something Bella should do herself, and refused to give any input on the matter at all. Bella sometimes sat in the evening and just thought about different names, and what she was going to do when he came along. How was she going to work such a hectic schedule with a newborn?
She was worn out at times during the day and found herself napping inside her office sometimes. Gil chuckled at her a lot, when he had to wake her, “Come on Bella, you yourself know pups that grow rapidly, make one tired. It’s all good that you nap, and it’s not like our hours are set 9 to 5.”
Here on the council grounds, she did not work the standard working day. No, she walked in here anywhere between 6am and 8am depending on what time those appointments had been made around the Alpha College class schedules and those over in the cells or rehabilitation homes.
She often headed home by lunchtime, but was on call from 1pm, and though she was out of her office by 12pm she often got called back later in the afternoon or evening, over in the prison section of the grounds or to help with an anxious she-wolf. That Luna Calm of hers came in quite handy, and it was used quite a bit here.
She’d used that Luna’s calm on several of the students as well, they all kind of just stared at her for a
minute, and then were drawn to her the way most pack wolves would be to their own Luna. Gretta and
Hailey appreciated that greatly, saved them having to come down and do that.
She had heard about Parker copping a hell of verbal berating from the human reporters, about what had
happened to his first wife. They’d not even known he’d gotten divorced, yet he was getting remarried. It had been brought to her attention by one of the 18-year-old she-wolves she’d seen here in the clinic.
“Bella, do you know you’re in the newspaper?” she’d stated as she sat before her scrolling on her phone.
“What? Why would I be?” Bella had frowned at the young girl. Who’d pulled it up on her phone and turned it to show her. She’d shaken her head after reading it but said nothing at all. What could she do?
Those in Oklahoma had been hunting for her, and she’d been so busy here she’d not known, but then she’d actually been asked by Gretta to write a short statement to be given to the press to try and help the situation, before that she-wolf that was his new mate came here to take a piece of her.

So, she had done as requested, taken a short Skype call about Parker getting remarried. Had told that human reporter, that they were indeed divorced, that they’d just had no time for each other in their marriage due to him being so busy with his company, and her doing her medical degree and then becoming a doctor
That they’d kind of lost touch with each other over the years and so had drifted apart, that she’d been the one to ask for the divorce even. To which Parker had given her everything she’d asked for, and she did not believe he’d cheated on her at all, that it was all amicable. That she wished him well on his new upcoming marriage.
That had been all she’d stated, she’d allowed that reporter to talk to her over Skype so he could see it was actually her, and not some random woman claiming to be her, to get Parker out of trouble. He’d questioned her about where she was now, and she’d smiled at him and stated, “Working at a university hospital.” And left it at that.
Bella delivered two healthy pups before her own son arrived. This place already had two pregnant she-wolves, though one was from a fully bonded pair and both of them had been allowed to stay there and attend the college’s classes up until the day the pup was born, then off to home after that. The other had been an accident but was sorting out a mating alliance with the father of the pup, seeing as they got along and had been seen having sex after knowing they were pregnant as well.
She’d smiled at both couples and their little pups. When they’d asked her what she was going to name her son, she stated she had decided to wait until she saw what he looked like. Though she was betting on him having light brown hair with blue eyes, either light or dark due to both her and Parker having the same, though Parker’s eyes were much lighter than hers.
She still hadn’t picked a name for him the day he was born, and Freya thought it was funny that she couldn’t do it. She snorted, fully amused, “You should just be born with a name like us wolves, that would

But there was no school here on the council grounds. Their own warriors returned to their home packs when their pups turned four, and Whitney would have to start school that next year, so leaving now gave them time to get to know everyone and be settled into a new pack, before school started for Whitney next year.
