Chosen Just To Be Rejected by Jennifer Francis novel Chapter 34

Bella

Bella arrived at the Hallowed Moon and was passed through the pack gate. She was met by both the Alpha Aston and his Luna, Mala on the packhouse front step.

They were nice and smiled, welcomed her to the pack, happy that she was willing to be initiated into their pack and be their full–time pack doctor. No more interim’s that could leave at any time. She was walked into the Alpha’s office with Whitney’s hand in her own.

They were both looking at her son; he was pure–blooded and they both knew it, she herself was Alpha–blooded. The two of them would bring strength to this pack, especially when Whitney grew up and gained his wolf. He was going to fit into this warrior pack so well.

Bella sank down in the chair indicated to her and handed over that scroll Gretta had given her, to give to them. She picked Whitney up and put him on her lap while they read it.

She smiled down at him when he reached up and touched her face, and Freya looked right at him, just for a moment on the surface, and he giggled up at her. Whitney loved looking up at Freya’s eyes, calling them sparkly stars. He’d gotten to ride around on Freya once or twice during the past year, late at night or early in the morning when no one was around. She still didn’t like others seeing her.

She saw both Mala and Aston look right at her and then at Whitney, “He just gave up all his rights?” Aston asked with a deep frown on his face. They’d known she had a son but not that he was a pure–blooded Alpha.

“Yes.” She nodded “There will be no issue arising from Whit and I being here. Everything was done through

the Alpha Council, Alpha Gretta herself attended to it. So, it’s all completely above board.”

“Alright.” Aston nodded “I’ll file this in your pack file if you’re okay with that.”

“That’s fine.” She nodded.

Aston turned his eyes on Whitney and smiled at him. “Hello young man, I’m Alpha Aston and this is my mate and Luna, Mala.” Their new Luna smiled at Whitney.

“Hi.” Whitney stated back.

“Do you know what happens when you change packs, how to become a new pack member here?”

Whitney nodded and pointed to the blade on his desk. “Mummy told me.”

“Good, how about I bring your mum into the pack first, so you can see it only hurts for a brief moment,” Aston stated.

Bella smiled and stood up, kept Whitney on her hip and she extended her hand so she could be initiated into the Hollowed Moon. She accepted Aston as her Alpha willingly. Knew he could be trusted because he had the Alpha Councils tick of approval.

Whitney came next, and she saw tears form in his eyes as he stated a simple ‘yes‘ to Aston’s initiation question. Only a yes was required of him, being that he was just four.

“It’s alright.” She told him gently and hugged him into her. He leaned into her and looked at his palm. He had been born into Gretta’s pack, not initiated into it.

“Now about your accommodation, Belladonna?” Mala had smiled at her.

“Please call me Bella.” She smiled at her new Luna, who chuckled near instantly at her shortening of her

name.

“My apologies,” Mala smiled at her. “That’s two Bellas here now. Ben, our War General’s Mate, is Bella. I’ll introduce you later, they’re about to have pup number three.”

Bella smiled herself “As for accommodations, wherever you put me will be fine, I’m certain.”

“You and Whitney are both Alpha–blooded and should reside here inside the packhouse.” Aston nodded and stood up. “We’ll show you a few rooms.”

“Oh,” she waved that off “No, thank you. I did not live in the packhouse of my first pack, and my second pack I had to live in the packhouse. I’m just a pack doctor, please house me as that. Don’t concern yourself with my bloodline, protocols around it have never really been followed in my life.”

“A doctor that is formally Luna Ranked, and is Alpha–blooded. The packhouse is appropriate accommodation.” Aston was frowning at her.

“Honestly, I’d prefer not to be in the packhouse, anywhere else. Perhaps somewhere close to the hospital,

school or crèche.”

Mala nodded and put a hand on Aston, “Leave it, I understand her, I’ll walk Bella about and show her

around. There are a few homes available.”

She saw Aston nod and walked out of the office with Mala, and found her Luna’s daughter walking with them. She got an introduction, “This is Chance, my and Aston’s eldest.”

“How many pups do you have?” Bella asked right back after greeting the little girl.

“Just two, little Chance is four, just like your son Whitney, and our son Flyn is three now. He’s with Ben and his pups right now, a boy’s bonding thing.” She chuckled and shook her head a little.

“Oh, any day now, you came at a good time.” She smiled, and Bella watched her rub her lower back and saw her wrinkle her nose a little.
