Bella
She found herself a month later in the Alpha’s office, staring at an angry–looking Whitney, who was glaring at another boy across the room, standing with his father. Whit it had been reported to her by Mala, had punched that boy over there. He was older than Whit, and it was reported that the boy had bullied one of his sisters; about being an orphan. Not something that had ever happened here inside the pack before.
She looked at the boy, Ace, knew he had come here with his father, when he’d mated into the pack, to one of their own she–wolves. He was new here himself, had only been here since just after the last full moon. Had returned to his pack to collect his son and come here to live.
They came for a rough and tumble pack, and he’d, from what she understood, wanted a better life for himself and his boy. The father was a mechanic named Winslow; he was looking at her now, he looked more than annoyed about the injury to his son. She raised an eyebrow at him.
Not really had the pleasure of meeting him officially, but knew of him because he’d had to go home and collect his family to move here. That news always got around the pack quickly was thought to be a good thing. She watched him smell her and registered she was alpha–blooded herself. Blinked a little in shock, likely thought Whit was one of the orphans as well, was only now realising he was not, and she was his actual mother.
Her eyes moved back to her son. “Whit?” she questioned him.
“He.” Whit pointed to that boy, who was 12 “shoved Alexi, and she fell down, then he called her a wimpy cry–baby.” She could hear the anger in his words still.
“Calm yourself,” she told him. “You’re pure–blooded and are stronger than others.” She reminded him. “ Please, calm down.”
Her eyes, however, moved to the other boy now. He had a busted lip and a solid looking bruise to the corner of his mouth, he didn’t look too badly injured, but violence wasn’t something she approved of. Whit had also always been calm and collected, just like she was.
“Where’s Alexi?” she asked, seeing that she wasn’t in the room and had not been taken to her in the hospital for medical treatment.
“Still in school, she is alright, physically.” Aston told her.
“Winslow?” she questioned the boy’s father. “Did he apologise?”
“Not yet.” Winslow answered her “Where we came from, Orphans.” he sighed “Don’t get treated so nicely. It’s actually why I moved us here, instead of asking Gail to come to our pack. So that Ace here, can learn to be better towards others around him. He is still adjusting to the way of life here.”
Her eyes moved to the boy; he looked just as mad as Whit did. “Whit, please apologize.”

“Why?” he shot right back “He started it, picked on a girl even.”
understand that. Aston will sort that out. Please apologise for punching Ace. Now”
She watched as his jaw set and shivered a little as she saw Parker’s temper right there in her own son. She might be the one raising Whit, but he still had Parker’s bloodline, and she could see it in the way his jaw was ticking. She also knew that Whit wasn’t going to apologise, he didn’t think he’d done anything wrong. Had defended his orphan–sister.
Whit also knew he was not only Alpha–blooded but pure Alpha–blooded, and technically the top of the food chain, so didn’t feel as though he had to in all likelihood. She sighed and hunkered down to look right at him. “Alpha’s have to apologise too, know when to say they are sorry, when they themselves have crossed the I ne. Violence is not the answer, Whitney, you know this.” She admonished him gently but firmly.
“Whitney, that’s a girl’s name.” Came a snort of laughter from Ace.
Bella snapped her hands on to her own boy, to stop him from racing over there and punching that boy again. She had seen a flash of real anger in his eyes at those words.
“Enough Ace.” She heard Winslow state in an angry tone “You’re out of line.”
Aston sighed himself and stood up. “I think both boys need a lesson here. Whit, you will work in the pack’s kitchen, breakfast shift. 5am to 10am.” He told him “Violence is not the answer.”
She watched Aston turn and look at Ace. “You Ace, will work in the pack’s laundry. Morning shift 5am to 10am. Both get five hours of chores. An equal punishment.”
“That’s for omegas only.” Ace gasped out “I’m warrior ranked.”
“Whatever.” Whit muttered about his punishment.
