Chosen Just To Be Rejected by Jennifer Francis novel Chapter 70

Parker

“I’m your Mate Parker, and you told me to my face, you had a Luna you liked, that I was not Luna material. How do you think I felt?” She grated out.

“Hmm, I was right though, wasn’t I? And I should have rejected you that very day. You are just like I saw inside that pack, an entitled bitch that enjoyed lording herself over others. You only care about yourself, and what you can get for yourself.

“Belladonna cared for everyone inside this pack, never put herself first. Hell, she smiled at me in my office and congratulated me on finding my Goddess–Gifted Mate, stated that rejection and told me to go and

Mark and Mate you.

“Not once did she hinder anything between you and I, and that is the difference between the two of you. She respects a mate bond, and you don’t…wanted to hurt her by touching me, causing her pains of betrayal, and why? Because I was mated to her before meeting you is all. You didn’t know her or what she was like, but wanted to hurt her anyway.”

“I hate her.” Carina yelled at him.

“I got that. The whole pack knows it, tell me how you came up with this plan to keep me from my son.” He

grated out.

“I didn’t plan anything, I simply read an sss and responded to it accordingly as the Luna, seeing a threat to my position within the pack.” she spat at him “You were still sullen and moping over that bitch leaving you. I knew you’d bring her back to the pack if she was pregnant, so I did what any Luna would do while her Alpha was at training, deleted your copy and sent out those photos of us together to keep you distracted and away from your desk.”

“Who helped you?” he snarled at her.

“No one, I’m not as dumb as you think I am.” She sneered at him “I fooled you for years and more than

r once.”

He was on her a hand to her throat, and she tried to rake her claws down his chest only to realise she couldn’t, he rolled his aura at her “Who helped you?” he and Vex snarled out, they didn’t believe she did this on her own, not when the money trail led to her father. Not when she had no way of knowing how he

wrote things up.

He also didn’t think she could have come up with this on her own, and the way her father had clicked the line closed, there was also a full two–day gap between her first reply and the next one, a clear window of plotting and planning about what to do with the information she had.

That man knew something and Parker was going to pull it out of Carina himself. He let go when she started to stagger under the wait of his aura, and then was down on the ground before him “Who… help

< 70

you?” he grated out once more.

He pushed harder, and she gasped “I called my dad.” She finally stated the words he suspected “He told me, what to do…talked me through it. Mocked up your responses and sent them to me, told me to delete everything, to cause more of a scene in the human world to keep you distracted.”

He dropped his aura, and she sagged to the floor, looked up at him with tears in her eyes “You’re a cruel

bastard.” She half sobbed.

“I’m cruel,” he got down on her level and looked right at her “Not even two weeks into our mate bond, and you deceived me. Betrayed me from the beginning, then wouldn’t even bare a child with me, insisted on being on birth control. You wouldn’t go to the pack hospital and help the she–wolves in distress. You plotted and planned against this pack from the very beginning, and I’m the one that was cruel.”

“I hated you for wanting her over me.” she grated out at him.

“She left me willingly, and I accepted it, let her go, didn’t fight it no once.He snarled at her.

“Yet I still had to tell you to Claim me.” her eyes bored into his. “You didn’t want to, don’t think I don’t know it. Our marking and mating was all me.”

“Yes it was, because I was still suffering from the rejection. That doesn’t go away in a day. I needed more time, but you wouldn’t bloody give it.” he grated out “You didn’t even care that I was in pain, or how I felt at

the time.

“If I needed time to deal with it, and be with you the right way. So, don’t play that card with me. I came out of my office and went right to you, and do you recall what you said ‘About bloody time, you got rid of her. When are you going to announce me?‘ not are you okay,

“Fuck you Parker.” She got up off the ground, and he stood along with her. “You don’t love me like you did her.” she spat at him “I bet you’ve never cut her from pack funding.”

Chapter 70 1

“You could have been, I was willing to be your Mate. I have tried for years, but you’re so selfish and need everything to be all about you. If you’d let it go, you and I could have worked out, been happy and had a family, you could have been a good Luna if you wanted to be. You chose not to be, you chose to deceive me right at the start, and that set the terms of our mate bond. I had let Belladonna go, didn’t look for her, was your Mate and loyal to you always. I tried to accept your very materialist need to only have the best of everything, but nothing is ever good enough for you.”

“You are jealous of a woman that wanted out of our mate bond, rejected me in less than a bloody minute, willingly gave me up and handed me over to you on a fucking platter, with a goddess damned smile on her face. There was nothing to be fucking jealous of. She was never coming back.”

“Wow, I got a Luna Ceremony. She dripped with sarcasm, “Where was my wedding that I was supposed to
