Chosen Just To Be Rejected by Jennifer Francis novel Chapter 69

Parker

He returned to the cells in the morning and saw Carina was wearing that smock. She’d not had dinner or breakfast at this point, and he wouldn’t be giving her anything either. She glared right at him, “What to reject me yet?” he asked casually.

“I’ve nothing to say to you,” she stated, and turned away from him.

“Alright, but you do realised I’ve had all night long to go over just who was here inside this pack, over the course of those emails right? I believe your father was here, demanding I do something about your image being ruined.”

She ooked at him now, and he smiled at her. “I wonder what he has to say for himself.” Parked stated as he pulled out her phone and looked at it. “Now when did those payments you sent him, start going to him. I think I now understand why you were paying him.”

“I didn’t pay him for anything. He wanted money, I sent it.” she shrugged.

He’d put a call into that pack of her father’s, just this morning and left a message about Carina being injured, knowing that man was going to call when he got it after training was finished. It wouldn’t be all

that long now.

“I doubt that very much. I think your own father helped you, but in return for keeping his mouth shut you had to constantly pay him,” he shook his head “Your own father was blackmailing you. Had something over your head and used it against you. I think your whole family is rotten.”

He smiled when her phone rang in his hand and he looked at it. “Ah, there is dear old daddy now. I placed a call to him to tell him you were injured.” He turned the phone to face her.

“Perfected timing.” Kane stated.

He answered the call “Greg how are you?” he stated with a friendly smile.

Carina was yelling a second later about it was all a lie. She wasn’t injured but in the cells, “Yes, Carina bring him right to me,” he stated, and watched her snap her mouth shut near instantly as she realised it

was just what he wanted.”

“Parker, what is going on?” Greg stated, sounding confused.

“Nothing, your daughter got caught out in a lie, and she’s currently under punishment. I’m going to beat her one, any minute now.” Parker stated, and clicked the line closed. Turned the phone off and handed it to

Kane. “She won’t be needing that anymore.”

She was staring at him now, because she didn’t know if he would beat her one or not, “Do you think he will come and rescue you? Or is he in that pack thinking about what lie you’ve told and got caught in, one that will see you in the cells and getting a beating from your own Mate. Or do you think he’s smart enough to

Cham

put it all together and run for the hills?

“He’ll come, and he’ll bring everyone.” She smiled at him.

“Good it’s what I actually want. I got a bone to pick with him, a half a million dollar bone at that. I’m going to put him in the cell right next to you, and let you watch me tear strips of him, literally so, until one of you talks. Or he gives me back my money”

She was glaring at him now. “Did you forget Garina, how much lager this pack is, 1000 warriors I have, on my own without allied assistance. Do you honestly think he’s going to rally his own Alpha when he’s neck deep in this as much as you are?

“Kane, cuff her please.” He stated as he turned to the rack of torture tools and picked up a silver dagger. ” Lets carve up her pretty face, so she can’t model ever again.”

He watched Carina’s eyes go very wide as he turned to face her, that blade in his hand as Kane stepped into the cell to cuff her, along with Shannon. She struggled against them and fought not to be cuffed and wanted out of that cell, but he was leaning in the doorway himself now, she wasn’t going to get past him.

“I’m your Mate, Parker. Harming me will only hurt yourself, your wolf.” She yelled at him.

“It won’t.” he shook his head as his men stepped back, and she backed up away from him all the way to the far wall “I don’t want our Mate Bond anymore. Not with all the trouble you’ve caused me, the pack’s businesses. You’re embezzling of half a million dollars to your father. Your lack of wanting to be a proper

Luna to this pack.”

“I do the Luna’s duties.” She spat at him.

“Hmm, do you? All the time or only when you want to? Or should I say when it suits you or want something from me? To make yourself look like you’ve been reprimanded and accepted it.” He took a step closer to

her.

Her eyes shot towards Shannon, the pack’s Gamma looking for help and he knew it.

ticked

“Agreed.” Parker nodded “But I just found out I have a child who is nine and your daughter not only knew about it, hid it from me on purpose.”
