Parker
He’d introduced Whitney to all of his unit now, and he’d seen they were all Marked and Mated, and he had heard the boy ask Belladonna if his unit had children. It had happened about two months ago, when Belladonna and Whitney had been leaving after having dinner with him and his unit.
She’d stated she didn’t know, but Whit had not asked him about it or his unit either, still had questions but wasn’t ready to ask them. The boy was curious Parker though as to whether he would have a future alpha unit inside the Lustrous Moon. But he’d left that one alone. The question hadn’t been directed at him, and he didn’t want Whit to think he was spying on them. His wolfen hearing had simply picked it up as they’d
been walking away, was all.
He was trying to patiently wait for Whitney to ask him that question, because he was letting the boy make
his own decisions about coming to the pack. Parker knew that telling Whitney that yes all of his unit had
children might see Whitney think he was pushing him in the heir direction.
Though Belladonna had heard Shannon state that he had a son Milly’s age, she’d denied to ask any further
questions about it herself that day. The only thing Parker had actively done was show Whitney pictures of
the pack. When he’d asked to see them, he’d asked his unit to as well, now that the boy was curious about
the pack itself and what it looked like.
He was happy with how things were progressing. Whitney openly talked to him and smiled at him when he saw him, though he still called him Parker and didn’t like it when Parker called him son, so he was still calling him Whitney. But he was hoping Whitney would at some point ask to come and see the pack.
To which Parker was going to invite all three of them to come for a short or long stay inside the pack. He
had a suite ready for them to be in, and a house out in the pack itself as well, out near the pack hospital. Just in case Belladonna didn’t feel comfortable staying inside the packhouse. Both had three bedrooms and were comfortably furnished and ready for them to use if they wanted to visit.
Today, his son was sitting looking at him after asking him if his unit had children. “Yes,” Parker nodded. ” Kane has two children, twins; Jamie and Jasmine.” He looked at Kane. “Do you mind showing a picture of
them to Whitney?”
“Not at all Parker, happy too.” Kane had smiled at him and gotten his phone out, scrolled through the pictures and showed one of the twins together. “They’re your age, born 5 months after your mum left the
pack,” Kane told him.
Parker watched Whitney look at them. “Oh, I thought they were both girls, from their names.”
“No, Jamie, my son was born 14 minutes before his twin sister. He is the Beta bloodline heir of the pack, being born first. But Jasmine will be trained up as well, but she may not want it. That is completely up to her. They can both be the heirs if they want to be, because they are twins.”
“Two Betas to a pack?” Whitney had asked curiously.
“Mm, they are twins,” Parker answered him “So both are entitled to be the next Beta. It will be up to them and if they both want it, they’ll both be instated. It’s that simple.”
He’d smiled at Whitney at the boys‘ nod and then stated with a chuckle “Shannon has a full litter.” as he
looked at his Gamma.
“Hey, that’s not my doing. Nicky is the one that goes into heat twice a year and the triplets were
unexpected.” Shannon laughed himself, multiple births didn’t run in his family. “I’ve got three sons and
three daughters.” Shannon told Whitney “Randy is my eldest. He’s nine like you, then there is Simon, who’s
seven, and Quaid, who just turned four. The triplets are just one, Ivy, Irish and India.”
Shannon showed Whitney pictures of his children as he talked about them. He was a proud dad and
somehow Parker didn’t think it was only going to be six children. Nicky appeared to be happy and was
already hinting at wanting another. They had a bigger suite than even he did. He’d had to combine two
suites into one inside his packhouse to house them and their growing family.
Axel had smiled at Whit when the boy had looked at him. “Just one child. She’s also nine like you are. A
daughter, her name is Adria. I’d like a few more, but it’s not meant to be at this time, I guess.”
He’d sighed a little on the heavy side and Whit had looked at him curiously. “Bridget and I lost our last two
pups.”
He saw Whit sigh now “Sorry, I didn’t …”
“It’s alright,” Axel murmured. “We have Adria, and she is precious to us.”
“Mums never lost a baby.” Whit muttered softly.

“So 18 years and not once found her mate,” Whitney mused after a moment, had done the math, it
