Chapter 70
Chapter 70
(Creed)
“You have no manners. You clearly do not know how to bow to those above you. I didn’t like you for my sister, Black. I certainly would not like you for the princess as well,” Alistair commented as he stood by the door.

He had returned with his duffel bag. My wolf noticed his presence before he spoke, I just did not care enough to look up from staring at a page in Eli’s notebook. There was a doodle of me with horns there. As if she could not emphasize how much she hated me during the time she drew it, she wrote ‘I hate you, Black’ under the image. The next page still consisted of me with shorter horns which somehow became an indicator of her hatred gauge. The shorter the horns, the lesser her hatred was.
‘Black is such a flirt today.
‘Black looks hot in his suit this morning.
‘I think I like Black a little this afternoon. P.S I love the gold bars.’
Gold. Dragons loved to hoard them. Now I knew where Eli got her obsession with them. I closed her notebook when Alistair moved in an instant and was suddenly behind my back, staring at the doodles. I hid the notebook inside my drawer. It was an ordinary object for him, but it was close to a treasure for me.
“Greedy bastard. I really don’t think I will ever like you for the princess.”
I shrugged. “Look at me. Do I look like I give a fuck? There is only one opinion that I would listen to. And it certainly is not yours, Hendrix.”
“And who are you referring to? Your alpha king?”
“Elianna.”
Alistair nodded. “That’s good. We tend to hear a lot of things when we fly. I heard you lost your shit when Aramides wanted you to marry someone else. That earned our respect, especially our king. We may not like you, but we respect you enough for our princess. Keep doing that, Black.”
It was my turn to scowl at him. “You mean keep losing my shit?”
In a blink of an eye, he looked like he wanted to toss me to the ocean. “No, you moron. Keep listening to the princess. You chose her when you have everything and she has nothing. What makes you think she would not do the same for you now that the table has been turned?”
So, Alistair had read my mind and had seen my uncertainties, something he could only do when he was close by. Although not a lot of dragons could do that, I had lost my focus, that’s why he was able to get through my head.
“You speak like I have nothing to offer.”
The bastard grinned. “Well, you can’t fly.”
“Some people prefer to run.”
“Unfortunately for you, Elianna is not ‘some people’, Black. Although you do have an advantage. Do you know how tamers hoard their most prized possessions?”
Now that was something worth listening to. “How?”
Alistair gestured to me to get closer. And so I did. He leaned down and whispered, “I will tell you… if you learn some manners.” He laughed, looking too proud that he got me there. “So, where is my room?”

Chapter 70
My forehead creased. “Did I ever tell you that you were going to have one?”
“Not yet.”
“That’s because you are not getting one, Hendrix. All the rooms in this house are occupied. You were not even invited. You just barged in. But don’t worry. I would have someone set you up a tent outside. Now, please excuse me.”
I watched his face fall and smirked. Later, after he was done cursing me in his language, I would have Dale show him to his room. I still needed to get in his good graces to know about tamers, especially about that last part he mentioned.
When I looked at the shore through the window, Eli was not there anymore. I glanced at my wristwatch. I promised to come back to her in an hour. I was gone for one and a half. I left Alistair in my office. He could show himself out.
My mate was waiting.
“You’re late. I started without you,” Eli said as soon as I opened the door, welcoming me with a gift that made me rock hard in an instant. It was her. Naked and all fours on my bed, her fingers inside her drenched opening.
Goddess, she was breathtaking.
Pregnant shifters in their early stages normally craved food and treasures. Alphas often hired the best chefs and scoured for gifts to far places, some would even go to as far as another realm. That was how eager they were to please their mates. Eli was not like any of them. Luckily, she only craved pleasure. And me.
I’d been making her come more times than before over the last few days. I was always happy to serve.
She used to love music, but recently, she stopped listening to her collection of them and only wanted to hear my voice. That’s why once Eli was satiated, she would lay her head on my chest and have me read a children’s book until she fell asleep.
The men always said a happy mate led to a happy life and I understand it now. Despite our complicated situation, Vicious and I found happiness here in our home, in our little bubble.
“Join me please?” she pleaded in a hoarse voice.
I threw my jacket on the divan and unzipped my pants. “Always, Vicious.”
Alistair was going to curse me for this. His hearing was better than the wolves! Despite the enchanted walls I surrounded in our room, I was sure he could still hear the sound from wherever he was. But the second I touched Eli, all thoughts of him and anything else were thrown out the door.
I smacked her ass, making her gasp from surprise and moan from arousal when I planted wet kisses on each cheek. “What were you thinking that got you this wet?”
“My fuchsia pink vibrator.”
Nothing much had changed after we cleared the misunderstanding between us. She was back to being a brat. My brat. I replaced her fingers with mine and curled them, hitting the spot she liked best before smacking her again with my free hand. “Wrong answer, Vicious. Try again.”
Her moans grew louder. “It was you! I was thinking about you, okay? Now, fuck me.”
I grinned. “Manners please.”
“Damn you, Black. Fuck me. Please.”
I chuckled. On another day, I would take my time biting, kissing, and tasting her before penetrating her slow and deep. But I was also in a hurry. I entered her in one full thrust, making me groan at how tight she was as she called my name fervently- She clamped down on me immediately like she did not want me to let go.

For a while, I did not move and only relished the feeling of being inside her before pulling out and thrusting back inside, giving her what she needed. When she came for the third time, her voice had become hoarse from all those vocal exercises.
I put her on top of me with my cock still inside her as I whispered about the writings in the fairytale book that I’d memorized while softly playing with her hair. I heard her yawn. Minutes later and she was fast asleep on my chest, looking exhausted but very much content.
I kissed the top of her head. “Sweet dreams, Vicious.”
“I think I need to have my ears replaced after this or have my memory of this assignment wiped out of my head,” I heard Alistair complain from wherever he was. I grinned as he added, “I know you could hear me, Black, you mannerless son of a gun.”
