Claimed by the Crown Heir novel Chapter 167

Knowing she was shy, Alistair decided not to push her too hard.

Still, her performance just now had left him incredibly satisfied.

He hadn't expected Lucas to be so persistent, showing up in Sterling City time and time again to harass her.

It seemed the man had entirely too much free time on his hands.

A flash of pure ice passed through his predatory gaze.

"Are you hungry?"

Vanessa nodded. "Yeah, a little."

She had been swamped lately setting up the online and physical store launches. By the time she finished work, it was usually dark, and she often just grabbed whatever was quick.

Giselle Grant hadn't been coming into the office recently, meaning Vanessa also had to oversee her sister's projects.

"Italian or something else?"

"How about seafood grill?"

It had been a while, and she was suddenly craving it.

But she worried Alistair might not be used to that kind of food.

Alistair casually replied, "I know a great Italian seafood grill down by the coast. Very authentic. Want to try it?"

"Sure."

The coastal restaurant was two stories high. The first floor was bustling and full of life, while the second floor faced the ocean, offering a perfect view of the waves and stars.

"Ace, what a rare sight. What brings you out here?"

The charming owner walked over. Her eyes landed on Vanessa behind him, flashing with surprise before morphing into a knowing smile.

"Is this your girlfriend?"

Alistair hummed in agreement. "Nancy, do you have a table open?"

"Of course. Right this way, up to the second floor."

The owner led them up the stairs.

"When Nolan told me you were off the market, I thought he was just messing with me. I didn't expect it to actually be true," she whispered. "Good taste. The girl is gorgeous."

Alistair's lips curved into a faint, silent smile.
