It was just like Bria’s mood right now, completely wrecked.

The engine roared as the car veered off the track and slammed into a patch of bushes nearby.
A minute later, Bria got out of the car. There was a thin cut across her forehead, streaks of blood trailing down, looking a little alarming at first glance.
She snapped a photo with her phone, casually wiped the blood away, then went back to the villa
to rest.
She knew she wasn’t seriously hurt. But in that instant when the car spun out, she’d thought about death. If she really died like that, would she have any regrets?
Bria had lived freely, never really suffered much. There wasn’t much she regretted in life, except for Kaleb.
If she hadn’t conquered that mountain, how could she ever feel satisfied?
She was determined to haunt Kaleb and bug him forever.
A week passed. Bria acted as if nothing had happened and went to find Kaleb again. Kaleb had clearly accepted reality, knowing she wouldn’t give up easily, so her appearance didn’t surprise him at all. He stopped fighting her altogether, choosing instead to ignore her completely, treating her like she didn’t exist.
Emmett became even more polite toward her, but it was purely out of formality, like a scripted conversation. Any personal interaction was gone, probably because Kaleb had warned him.
At Kaleb’s company, employees started gossiping, thinking their boss was being aggressively pursued by some rich woman. Every day, food deliveries arrived for the entire office. No one got left out, but Kaleb’s portion was always the most special.
Bria didn’t show up directly. She only appeared when there were fewer people around, stepping into Kaleb’s line of sight. Kaleb always acted like he didn’t see her.
And just like that, another week went by.
Kaleb went to a studio to check on the progress of a commercial shoot he was sponsoring.
Bria followed him there, but she didn’t go inside. If she wanted to, no one could stop her, but she didn’t want to make things too ugly. So she stayed in the car, sipping coffee, resting her elbow on the window as she casually watched the scene outside.

Chapter 813 Confrontation

Finished
She was curious how long it would take before Kaleb snapped and confronted her again. After all, no one liked being followed.
Her instincts told her it would be today.
Kaleb arrived on set and brought two bouquets of flowers for the brand ambassadors, Matilda and Jerry. Matilda’s bouquet was especially thoughtful–pink roses she’d openly said she liked, wrapped in white ribbon, with a card tucked inside..
Kaleb personally handed the bouquet to Matilda.
Bria’s lips curled upwards slightly. The coffee that had tasted fine moments ago suddenly turned unbearably bitter.
She hadn’t planned to lose control, but her possessiveness was too strong. She couldn’t tolerate anyone around Kaleb, man or woman.
And now he was giving Matilda roses?
Damn it.
Kaleb has never given me roses, never written me a card.
Bria glanced at herself in the rearview mirror. Her expression was calm. Am I getting calmer the crazier I feel?
She almost liked this version of herself more, twisted as it was.
According to Renee’s investigation, Matilda was in Trensea for work today. After wrapping the shoot, she’d return to her hotel, change, and head out for dinner. So, Kaleb and Matilda are already close enough to meet privately?
They haven’t interacted all week, so have they been chatting online?
When Kaleb replied to my messages, it felt like pulling teeth. But with Matilda, he could be this attentive?
Bria tossed her coffee out the window, let out a cold laugh, slammed on the gas, reversed, and drove off.
Matilda returned to her hotel after finishing work.
Not long after, the elevator doors opened, and Bria stepped out slowly. If villains had theme music, it would be playing right now.
She stopped at Matilda’s door, didn’t knock, and swiped her card to walk straight in.
