**TITLE: Dreams Refuse Gravity by Leo Arden Knox**
**Chapter 179 I’ll End You**
**Lucky Draw**
The kidnapper’s hand descended with a brutal force, each slap reverberating through the air like a thunderclap. Bella felt the sting as her skin met his palm, the pain radiating from her cheek, swelling rapidly, turning her face into a canvas of crimson and agony. Her lips split, blood trickling down her chin, a stark reminder of her vulnerability.
“Do you even comprehend what it was like for your colleague’s son to hear his father’s screams as he faced death?” the kidnapper bellowed, his voice a tempest of rage. “Why didn’t you save him? Why? The extinguisher was right there! Why didn’t you use it to extinguish the flames consuming him?”
“I… I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Bella’s voice quivered, fear wrapping around her throat like a vice. “We got separated! I was nowhere near him! I don’t understand why he was calling my name. He must have been disoriented from the smoke… maybe hallucinating or something…”
“Delirious?” the kidnapper scoffed, a sneer curling his lips as he shoved her away, sending Bella crumpling to the floor with a heavy thud that echoed in the dimly lit room.
Without warning, a deluge of liquid splashed over her, sending a shock of cold terror through her veins. The camera captured the kidnapper hefting a white plastic bucket, pouring its contents over Bella with a cruel glee.

**Chapter 179 I’ll End You**
**Lucky Draw**
Bella shrieked, her voice piercing the air, filled with sheer terror. “No! Stop! What are you doing?”
“What am I doing?” he taunted, his eyes glinting with malice. “I’m giving you a taste of what it’s like to burn! Let’s see if you start hallucinating when the flames lick at your skin!” He grabbed another bucket, pouring more liquid over her, the scent of gasoline filling the air like a sinister perfume.
“Oh my, that must be gasoline!” someone in the studio gasped, their voice a mixture of horror and disbelief.
Bryce’s heart raced, tightening in his chest as he stared at the screen, helpless. All he could do was pray that the police would arrive in time to save her.
“Damn it!” he cursed, gripping Bella’s abandoned phone with such force that his knuckles turned white, the plastic creaking under his grip. “Why did this have to happen to her?”
He spun around to face Riley, his eyes ablaze with fury, a storm brewing within him. “This is all your fault, Riley! If anything happens to Bella, I’ll hold you accountable!”
“My fault?” Riley’s brows shot up, incredulity etched across her face. “Bryce, have you lost your mind?”
“It’s all because of you!” Bryce shouted, the words spilling from him like molten lava. “If you hadn’t played that damn recording during the interview, if you hadn’t ganged up on Bella with everyone else, she wouldn’t have stormed off to the green room! She wouldn’t be in this mess! You got her kidnapped!”
Riley let out a bitter laugh, her voice dripping with disdain. “Oh, Bryce, you never change. Always pointing fingers when things go awry. You claim I drove Bella away, so she got kidnapped? What about you? Weren’t you the one who left with her? Why weren’t you by her side, protecting her?”
“I…” Bryce stuttered, his mind racing, words tangled in his throat. But instead of retreating, he erupted. “Stop twisting this around! I swear, Riley, if anything happens to Bella, I’ll make you pay for it!”
Sebastian intervened, cutting off Bryce’s tirade with a swift kick to his chest, sending him sprawling backward.
Bryce gasped sharply as he hit the ground, the impact jarring him.
