“The Lincoln family will destroy Riley? This isn’t Russia. This is the United States,” Lara snapped, stepping forward.

“Who cares? She hit me. Everyone saw it,” Cynthia said, pointing at the security guards. “They’re all witnesses. Are you going to cover for her and twist the truth?”

One of the security guards approached Riley. “Miss, perhaps you should apologize to Ms. Lincoln.”

Everyone in the building already knew Cynthia’s identity. She had been entering and leaving the Torres Group all week.
