“You’ll have your answer soon enough,” Zane said as he started

the car.

Cynthia’s fingers curled tightly into her skirt. She couldn’t be driven out of the Lincoln family.

When the two of them stepped before Benedict, the patriarch sat on the sofa with his fingers resting on an old pocket watch. His eyes remained closed, and he said nothing.
