"We all came here to ask for your forgiveness, Riley," Brian revealed. His eyes quickly welled with tears as he confessed, "I had wronged you the most. I was your husband for four years but threw it all away."

"I had forgotten how much I had loved you, blinded—" Brian could not continue, and Riley understood how difficult it was for him to admit that he had a relationship with Claire, given what he knew now. "I don't have any more excuses because I hate myself for it."

He also walked before Riley and requested, "Please forgive me, Riley." He turned to Renee and asked, "Mom, I'm sorry. I failed you."
