Chapter 349 You’ve Got a Crush
This sight left Andrew at a loss for words. He tried to say something to Emily, stuttering out a hesitant “You…”
But Emily, undaunted by Andrew’s anger, raised her voice and demanded, “I can tell you flat–out, I’ve got a clear conscience about everything I’ve done for you. But what about you? Can you say the same?”
It was true that Emily had once taken meticulous care of Andrew.
But Andrew was well aware that she’d only been using her kindness as a means to get information about Ethan from him.
So, he’d never really valued her gestures, seeing them merely as attempts to curry favor.
However, no matter her motives, it was an undeniable fact that Emily had been incredibly good to Andrew back then,
Left tongue–tied, Andrew turned to Ethan, exclaiming, “Ethan, aren’t you going to do something about this?”
Before Ethan could respond, Emily butted in sharply, “What can he do? He’s no different from you. Both of you are no good.”
Andrew flared up and barked at Emily, “You little…”
But Ethan quickly tugged at Andrew’s arm and said, “Nancy’s waiting for us. There’s no point in getting worked up.’s so
Still, before leaving, he shot Emily a few venomous glares.
Seeing this, Alexander lost his temper and threatened, “If you keep glaring, I’ll pop your eyes out.”
Andrew just let out a scornful snort.
Alexander was about to charge after Andrew, but Emily quickly grabbed his hand and said, “Alexander, it’s not worth it.”
Reluctantly, Alexander backed off.
Once he had calmed down, Emily said, “Let’s go back.”
Alexander nodded. “Okay.”
Over at where Nancy was waiting, when Ethan and Andrew arrived, they found her with tears cascading down her cheeks.
At the sight of Nancy, all of Andrew’s irritation vanished. His face softened into a loving smile.
As they drew closer, Andrew playfully ribbed her, “Already getting all emotional? You’ll be a waterfall when Ethan proposes!”
Nancy pouted and feigned anger, reaching out to swat at Andrew. “So, you’re making fun of me now, huh?”
Then she stamped her foot and started counting, “Three, two…”
Andrew quickly stopped dodging and explained, “Nancy, I’m not 216 joking around. You’re always gorgeous, you know.”
Nancy was satisfied with his words and gently pinched his cheek. “You’re such a smooth–talker.”
Even though it hurt, Andrew didn’t show it. Instead, he felt a warm, pleasant sensation.
The place where Nancy had pinched him turned bright red, and the blush spread across his face.
Seeing his blushing face, Nancy simply broke into a smile.
While Ethan watched two people horsing around, there wasn’t a single flicker of strange emotion in his heart. Instead, he was incredibly calm.
Having been by Ethan’s side for years, she knew Andrew had a crush on her. And as for Shawn, she kinda thought he felt the same way.
