Kelly left with them, so I decided it was probably time for me to head home as well. I got in my car and started driving home.

About half way away, I got an intense feeling of dread and in the next second my car was rolling over and over. Glass was penetrating my skin; the seat belt was digging into my chest and I could smell gas and a very putrid smell.

Rogues.

Fuck me, is all I could think. I need to get out of this car. Zach isn’t here to help me and I don’t know how many there are! Slowly crawling out, I am keeping my eyes open to see where they are coming from. As I am about half way out, I hear the growls and I see three sets of eyes walking towards me.

Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck. Okay, well here goes nothing, I guess. Staggering to my feet, I take a second to breathe and I let myself play hurt so they think they are at an advantage. They are not big in size and are all different shades of brown. It is all I can make out when it’s this dark, but the foam from their mouths tells me they are crazed. The far left one starts to circle me and the right one does the same. The middle one tries to keep my attention as it takes weak nips at my feet. I don’t feel like I need to shift yet, but Raven is so ready to go. Extending my claws and letting my eyes glow, I wait till one of them attacks.

First the left one jumps and I meet it half way, duck under its arm and stick my claw under the arm and twist. Puncturing the lung, it will be dead here soon. Suddenly, there is a shark pain in my leg and I turn to see the middle one has ahold of my leg and is biting down. I hear my bone snap as I take my claw and drive it through the eyes of the wolf. As it is whimpering, a large dark grey wolf appears and grabs the wolf and rips his head clean off. Looking over, I see the third wolf already dealing with its throat ripped open. I can’t fight well with a broken leg, but I use a tree and try to stand when the large grey wolf transforms back into a male.

“Don’t try to stand! I need to reset it!” He yelled. This guy is dripping with sex appeal. Tattoos covered his pecs and down his back. His 6-pack abs were leading to the V shape and down to his very large dick swinging between his legs. His sandy brown hair was cut short and he was sweaty. He runs behind some trees and emerges a second guy with shorts on. If I didn’t have a broken leg, I would have been drooling.

“My name is Matt. I am a warrior with the Smoky Mountain Pack and I was doing some regular patrols and I heard the growls. I had already alerted the Alpha. He will be here shortly.”

“Oh, fuck me” I sighed and laid back down.

“Well, I wouldn’t mind fucking you, but I do need to set your leg before it heals broken” Matt said.

Glaring up at him, “Fine, just do it. Don’t count or anything, just do it.”

“Yes. Ma’am.” He drawled. I laid down and looked up at the trees. I happen to be lying in a spot where there is an opening in the canopy and you can see all the stars. It is so beautiful but a sharp pain, brings me out of my star-gazing and I let out a deep growl with a yelp.

“Okay, let’s sit you up against this tree and give yourself some time to heal.” Matt said as he grabbed uneer my arms and slid me up the tree. I let out a hiss and positioned myself to be comfortable. “Well, you took that better than I thought.”

“What were you expecting exactly?” I said sarcastically.

“A few tears or something. Most women can’t handle that.”

I gave him a look, “and women can’t be tough too? All women must be housewives and raise children?”

Matt had a shocked look on his face and started back peddling hard. “I…. uh… that’s not what I meant!”

Deciding to have some fun with him, “And what did you mean? Do I look like a girl to you? One that will cry and need a strong man like yourself to hold me?

“That’s not what I said!”

“Oh, so I look like a man that can handle some pain and I guess I am not pretty either.”
