I heard Reed and Kelly kiss too, before I opened the door. As soon as I did, I could hear hundreds of voices talking amongst themselves. I kept my back straight and I walked with a purpose. Wyatt guided me to the center of the room. There was a makeshift stage with a white fabric lining it. There was a podium in the middle with a microphone for those who joined in virtually. As soon as I hit the stage, silence fell throughout the crowd. You could hear a pin drop.

I confidently walked up to the podium and placed my binder on it, opening to my first page. I had most of it memorized but I wanted this for notes and to have something for my hands to play with if needed. I took a moment to look around me. Most Alphas brought their Lunas, and they were sitting in a group in front of me. There were multiple screens behind them that showed more Alphas and Lunas. We had quite a turn out.

“I would like to thank you all for making this trip on such short notice. Let me start by introducing myself and telling you my story. I will keep this short, so we do not keep you here longer than needed.” Wyatt insisted I say that. Apparently, this event took major convincing on a few alphas’ part. “My name is Nina McCoy. I am the mate of Alpha Wyatt Evens. Since I know you do not care about my family, I am just going to skip to the main point. I am the direct and last member of the Royal Family.” I paused as I heard whispering at this. I knew this would be a big deal and I was not going to force them to stay quiet. That would turn them away instantly. “I was kidnapped awhile ago and was going to be forced to mate someone that was not my mate by someone who is operating a sex trafficking ring. The same ring that is attacking the smaller packs around the U.S. Luckily, I managed to escape, but since then, I have found out about my destiny and taking my rightful place as your Queen and ending the sex trafficking ring and the continued attacks on our smaller packs.”

I almost had to shout the last part as the room erupted. I involuntarily took a step back as the waves of emotions crashed open my door. I started feeling everything they were feeling. Strangely enough, I was able to focus on a feeling and follow it back to who it was coming from. There was anger, happiness, confusion and denial.

“Silence!” I yelled. I didn’t let my aura out, but I did put a little force behind those words. The yelling became mumbling that I ignored. “I understand this is a shock to most of you but you need to hear this. The council is trying to put false accusations in my name claiming me to have participated in illegal activities. They are also the same council that has allowed the sex trafficking of our women, your daughters or granddaughters, to be abducted, raped and beaten. They have not stood up for our small packs that have been wiped out. Nor have they lent a helping hand to anyone in need. I am here to tell you that those responsible will be held accountable and punishment will match the crime. I will not, and have not ever done anything illegal and will be seeing those punished for false claiming of such. I…”

“You are a fraud!” I heard someone yell out. My eyes snapped to his.

“I see. And I can tell you are not alone in your feelings, so how about you come down here and either challenge me or shut up?” I said firmly with a hint of amusement. I knew that would piss him off.

I watched him stand and make his way toward me. My words were a challenge in themselves, and I had already prepared to do this, so I might as well have fun with it. He was very tall, at like 7 feet. His arms couldn’t even lie down by his side, he was so muscular. His blonde hair was in a slick man’s bun on top of his head, and he had on a suit that looked 2 sizes too small. He started walking straight up to me.

I decided I didn’t want to do this on the stage, so I walked down to stand in front of it. Wyatt kept his place, but his eyes never left that Alpha.

“Are you even going to ask who I am?” The Alpha asked.

“No, I won’t matter who you are in a few minutes.” I said nonchalantly.

“You bitch!” He said and ran towards me. “I will put you in your place!”

I let my eyes glow green, and I felt the vibrations come to the surface. I put a force shield around me. My hands raised slightly with my psalms pointed upward. He ran straight into my power and bounced off, flying backward, close to 15 feet. I lowered my hands and walked toward him. I heard whispering around me, but I chose to ignore it. He looked pissed but shaken. I walked up to him.

“Do you believe me now?” I asked calmly.

“No!” He said and stood up, charging again.

This time I side stepped his punch and grabbed his arm, letting the electricity flow causing him to thrash around. I heard more whispers, ‘she is electrocuting him! She is the real thing! What a monster!’

I let go and watched him catch his breath. “Now?” I asked politely.

“Who told you to do this?”

“I don’t know, I work for ‘The Savior’ and he called me to do this job for him”

“Who is that man?”

“I have never met him before, I just work the ring.”

“Have you ever touched a woman without their consent before?”

He was visibly shaking and trying hard to fight me. “…Yes” had forced from his lips.

“I see. So, you are presenting to me, attempted murder of your queen and a rapist!” I bellowed so everyone could hear me. I let my eyes glow. “I find you guilty of these crimes and sentence you to death!” I said and I walked up behind him, grabbed his neck and twisted it. Easily snapping it.

“Let this be known. I am here to stay. I am here to take my place as your queen. I will not stand for rapists and murderers to get away with their crimes. I will be taking action. You can either stand beside me and fight with me. Or you could fall with my enemy. The choice is yours!”
