“I would like to start off by thanking each and every one of you for your continued support as we navigate through this together. I would also like to take this time to update everyone on what I have been doing/going through. Per the council’s request to question me, I handed myself over to show that I was willing to work with them to come to a civilized understanding. However, that is not what happened. I was questioned for hours and if they did not like my answers, I was rewarded with punches, kicks, slaps and many other ways to get me to bend to their will. There will be pictures popping up to show you my injuries I sustained. I was in a coma and just recently woke up. Almost every bone was broken at some point, but I stand here before you to show you what kind of men they are.

It has recently been brought to my attention that one of the council men is actually responsible for the trafficking and destruction of our smaller packs. We do have evidence and it will be presented at their trial when this war is over.

It is time to put an end to the sex trafficking of our women and children!

It is time to put an end to the destruction of our packs and, in general, our kind!

It is time to stop rolling over and letting them get away with murder, rape and many other crimes!

(I let my eyes glow as I declared each statement)

I brought my eyes back and slouched back against the chair. It took all my energy to deliver that with conviction and truth.

“You are a natural leader” Kelly said as she shook her head watching me. Reed was checking everything out and Wyatt went to the bedside table and grabbed an envelope and handed it to Reed. Reed nodded and took it without question.

“What was that?” I asked Wyatt.

“I took pictures of your injuries when they were fresh. We will add those to the pictures he puts in the video.”

I opened and closed my mouth a couple of times. I wasn’t sure what to say. Yell at him? Thank him?

“It needed to be done, Nina. They will be more convincing anyway, but don’t be mad. It wasn’t to violate you but to help our cause,” Raven said to me.

After hearing Raven’s thoughts, I just nodded my head and brought my legs under me, so I was leaning on the side of the chair.

“Reed and Wyatt are going to edit the video and get it sent out tonight so it’s you and me!”

“Do not over do it!” Wyatt said, glaring at Kelly.

“I promised we wouldn’t! I have a movie and popcorn!”

“I want chocolate cake too!” I said.

“Oookay, I can do that.” Kelly said slowly.

“Yeah, right! I will make it just fine. You are a horrible cook!”

“I am not sure that is a great idea…” Wyatt said as he looked at me and ran his fingers though his hair.

“You wanna bet against me?” I challenged. “Besides, Kelly will be there to help me!”

Wyatt gave him and nodded, but he was not happy.

I stood up and Kelly rushed over to grab my hand. I gave her an appreciated smile and we slowly made our way to the kitchen.

“I am glad you want to eat, though!” Kelly said as she helped me onto a bar stool.

“I am always down for chocolate. Can you get the stuff out for me?”

“Of course!” Kelly grabbed this mixer and each ingredient from the cupboard and brought it to the countertop in front of me.

“Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and grease the pan, please.” She did as I asked. Soon I was about to finish putting the batter in the pan.

“What do you think is going to happen?” Kelly asked out of the blue. I handed her the cake and motioned her to put it in the oven.

“Which part, the war or the mole?” I asked.

“Both”

“I have a good feeling about the war. We will lose people, but I have a good feeling it will come out in our favor. As for after, I don’t know. Wyatt and I will have so much responsibility and will have to appoint staff and key members of the advisory team. We will have to hold trials for those who are responsible and decide their fate.”

“Where do Reed and I come into the mix?”
