“What the hell, that white goose is huge. Damn, how long’s it been since I’ve had meat? Perfect. We’ll grab. it and have ourselves a real meal.”
The moment Robin heard that, a sharp chill flashed through her eyes.
“Oh my God, just thinking about it is making me drool. I want braised goose feet so bad. A fat goose like that could feed us for days.”
As another voice joined in, openly discussing how they planned to cook a goose, Cotton instantly flew into a rage and spread his wings wide.
“HONK HONK HONK!”
Stupid humans!
With one savage flap, two violent gusts of wind formed out of nowhere and tore straight toward the group below.

But what shocked them even more was what happened next. Cotton beat his wings again and actually took

Two wind blasts and making the others suffer for it, he didn’t even look back. He flew straight to the second floor, through the broken window, and dove headfirst into Robin’s arms, honking in aggrieved outrage.
Did you hear that? They want to eat me.

Robin caught it in a full embrace, amused and uneasy at the same time.
With Cotton’s temperament, one that never accepted a loss, the fact that he had turned tail and run meant the people below weren’t weak.
Still pinned to the floor by Ella, the captured man suddenly understood. “That white goose… so he’s with you!”
He had been startled by Cotton’s sudden cries earlier, which was why he’d smashed the window and come in, only to end up caught by Ella.
“Damn it, what even is that goose? In times like these, even geese can have abilities now?”
“I don’t care. I’m catching it today. I’m going to stew it. Steam it. Braise it.”
“Did you see where it went?”

The group stormed in full of confidence, and before long they appeared on the second floor. The moment they saw how many people were already there, they froze.
They were sizing Robin’s group up, and Robin’s group was doing the exact same thing to them.
“Captain! Captain, save me!”
The man on the floor finally shouted, and the expressions of the newcorners immediately darkened.
“What the hell are you doing?” one of them demanded.
Then another man came running up from behind, panting hard. “Captain, most of the medicine from the pharmacy on the first floor is gone. I’m guessing these people took it.”
At that, the leader’s face turned even colder. “Did you?”
“This place is one we claimed long ago. I don’t know who you are, but we’re from Redwood Military Base, an official government base. If you really took our medicine, I’ll give you one chance. Return it now, and I won’t hold you responsible.
“And let that man go. Otherwise, don’t blame me for what happens next.”
“Yours? Ours?” Robin let out a cold laugh. “It belongs to whoever can take it. You keep saying this is your
territory, but where’s your proof?
