When the video got no reply and their desperate begging failed, some people in the comments lost their patience. A few even started making threats.
Robin thought it was a little ridiculous.
They couldn’t even protect themselves, but they were threatening a stranger to come save them. Some even wrote threatening messages to the content creator. [If you don’t help us, I swear I’ll make you pay for this!]
Robin couldn’t hold back anymore. She replied under the comment, [What if today is your last day?]
She had just posted it online when a sharp alarm suddenly screamed above her head.
Beep! Beep!
Robin’s expression turned serious. This alarm had appeared after Shangri–La’s defense system finished its full upgrade. It meant someone had entered the surveillance range.
She immediately ran down to the basement. Sure enough, the giant LED screen showed several clear figures moving toward the estate.
And their destination was obvious. They were heading to the villa.
“Mr. Henry, hang in there. Your judgment was right. The farther we came this way, the fewer zombies we saw. We’re almost at the villa!”
A middle–aged man wearing a custom suit spoke through clenched teeth. On his back, he carried a teenage boy whose consciousness was fading.
The man’s expensive suit was now ripped into strips. Pieces of fabric hung loosely from his body. His exposed skin was covered in scratches and wounds. He looked exhausted and battered.
Two other companions walked ahead of them. One was a tanned–skin girl. The other was an ordinary–looking young man. Both were dirty and injured, with torn and stained clothes.
“Tim.”
The girl suddenly turned around. Her face looked uneasy. “I think someone else is already

Tim’s expression turned serious. He quickly walked a few steps forward. Sure enough, behind the thick layers of branches and leaves, a massive wall of concertina razor wire came into view. It stood nearly 16 feet tall. But this fence was nothing like the ordinary razor wire people usually saw. This one was taller. Thicker. Much stronger. The metal coils were dense and tightly wound. The razor blades flashed with a cold shine. One glance at them was enough to make anyone feel uneasy.
Looking past the barrier, they could faintly see a gray building deeper inside. The creature crouched low on the ground, like a giant beast lying in wait.
Tim frowned in confusion. “What is that?”
The young man beside him thought for a moment. “Could we have gone the wrong way?”
“No,” Tim said firmly. “Shangri–La is definitely in this direction.”
He hadn’t been here in years, but he still remembered the general location clearly. Shangri–La should be right here.
The tanned–skinned girl frowned, her expression impatient. “This place belongs to Mr. Henry. I don’t care who’s inside. We still have to get in.”
As she spoke, she stepped forward and reached toward the razor wire, ready to handle it herself.
Down in the basement, Robin watched the scene unfold. One eyebrow slowly lifted.
After the defense system upgrade, the cameras now had built–in audio. Every word those people said reached her ears clearly.
Mr. Henry? Mr. Henry’s place? Could it be?
Robin suddenly thought of her landlord, the mysterious rich kid who was rarely seen.
The idea made sense. The world outside was extremely dangerous now. The group outside looked badly injured. The rich kid wasn’t stupid. Sooner or later, he would remember this remote mountain villa.
But now, Shangri–La belonged to her.
“Wait!”
Just as the tanned–skinned girl was about to grab the razor wire fence, the young man beside

The girl frowned, annoyed that her movement had been stopped. “Dane, what are you doing?”
Dane Bone shook his head and said, “Don’t do anything rash.”
He slowly reached out his hand. Inside the control room, Robin narrowed her eyes as she watched the LED screen.
The moment Dane’s fingers touched the razor wire–Crack! A burst of purple electricity exploded along the metal wire.
Tim and the girl gasped in shock. Dane’s face turned pale, and he quickly pulled his hand back.
His hand was already burned black.
