Time passed without Robin noticing. At last, every garden bed had been planted with seeds. Robin dropped down onto the ground and pulled a bottle of cold mineral water from her storage space. She took a long drink and sighed with satisfaction.

Right then, the system notification chimed. “Beep–Crop zone detected. Reward: Soil fertility +10. Crop growth time reduced by half!”

Robin’s eyes lit up. She watched as the dry soil suddenly turned dark and rich. It looked full of nutrients. Even more shocking, some of the seeds she had planted only minutes ago were already sprouting tiny green shoots.

Robin had originally planned to let the first batch of crops grow and then plow them back into the soil as fertilizer.

The land had been too poor to grow healthy plants. But now it seemed like she could skip that

step.

“This system really delivers,” Robin said with a grin.

Over the next few days, Robin focused on improving her little home. Every time she completed a task, the system generously rewarded her with something useful.

Only five days passed, but Shangri–La had already changed completely.

In the front yard, the chicks and ducklings chirped and quacked all day. They were lively and full of energy. Cotton had voluntarily taken on the role of guard goose. If he heard even the smallest noise, he stretched his neck high and prepared to attack like a soldier.

The vegetable garden in the backyard was growing beautifully. In just five days, the plants had already grown thick and green.

Princess Ruby loved to sleep beside the garden beds. Robin had warned her many times; she was very careful not to step on the vegetables.

Farther up the hill behind the house, Robin had planted fruit trees along most of the slope.

Today was the seventh day of the apocalypse.

Robin turned on the TV. The screen was completely black.

Every television station had already gone offline. She picked up her phone instead. The internet was still working for now, but Robin guessed it wouldn’t last much longer.

She opened several news and social media apps. Then she noticed something strange.

A trending keyword appeared on every platform.

Lorekeeper.

Seeing trending topics wasn’t unusual. But the strange thing was that almost every app showed the same keyword.

“Lorekeeper?” Robin muttered. “A storyteller?”

Curious, she tapped on it. What she found surprised her. It was actually an apocalypse content

creator.

Each of his recent videos had nearly ten million views and millions of likes.

Even during peaceful times, those numbers would make someone a top influencer. But now? This was the apocalypse. There shouldn’t even be that many people still online.

She tapped the video and skimmed through it. Most of the content explained how people should deal with zombies–how to defend themselves, how to fight back, how to escape, and when it was safest to go out and search for food.

Even Robin had to admit the advice was solid. For someone like her, who had survived ten years in the apocalypse, the information still sounded practical and well thought out.

But it was strange; today had only been seven days since the apocalypse began. Most people barely understood anything about zombies yet. Fear alone had already overwhelmed them. So who exactly was this Lorekeeper? How could this person know so much and explain it so clearly? Was this person someone from the government, maybe even part of a special task force?

In her previous life, Robin had spent all her time running for survival with Noah and Zelda. Her phone had been lost during their escape, so she had never even heard of this person.

Still, it didn’t matter much.

She casually scrolled through the comment section. If this had happened before the apocalypse, the comments would probably be full of people praising the creator like some kind of genius. But now? Everyone was just trying to stay alive. No one had time to admire content

creators anymore.

The entire comment section was filled with desperate cries for help.
