End Times. Surviving with My Beastly Army
Chapter 171 Only Fit to Be Used by Us
Indeed, the most effective way to improve was through real combat.

What surprised Robin even more was that by evening, another Level 2 zombie appeared. Under Monica’s leadership, the two squads collaborated and successfully dismantled it.
By the time the moon rose, residents began returning one after another.
They were exhausted, but every face carried a satisfied smile. Working together, they had practically cleared out all the Level 1 zombies in the surrounding area.
Their chips now held plenty of points. Several people had even surpassed a hundred, and that would be enough to last them for quite a while.
“We’ll rest here tonight,” Robin said.
“Zombies are more active at night, and their attack power increases. For everyone’s safety, avoid moving around after dark.”

“Got it.”
They took sleeping bags from the vehicles and made do for the night inside the hospital.
Early the next morning, even though they were no longer inside the base, everyone still woke up instinctively and began their training.
With points as motivation–and others as competition–no one wanted to fall behind.
“Robin,” Ella said quietly as she leaned in, “when we were clearing zombies yesterday, we found a mall behind the hospital. Looks like the supplies there haven’t been touched.”
Robin smiled. “Take a team and clean it out.”
“You’re not coming?”
“I’ll pass,” Robin replied. “Just stay safe.”
Honestly, if she could earn points while lying down, why bother doing the work herself?
Before the apocalypse, she’d been just another overworked employee. Now that she finally had the chance to act like the boss, she fully intended to enjoy it.
Besides, she wanted to train Ella and the others.
With how the system worked, there would only be more and more residents in the zoo in the future. There was no way she could handle everything alone, and she needed capable people to share the load.
And Ella’s group, who had been with her from the beginning, were the best candidates.

Chapter 174 Only Fit to Be Used by Us
Meanwhile, Serena and her group returned to the Redwood Military Base in a miserable state.
Finished
They had left full of condence, yet came back looking like this–several members lost, no medical supplies recovered, and even their captain severely injured. One of his hands was completely gone- blown off, leaving nothing but a bare stump at the wrist.
Everyone who saw them was stunned.
“What the hell happened?”
Inside the meeting room, a pot–bellied man was practically spitting with rage. “Weren’t you supposed to gather supplies? You said you found a large hospital full of medicine, so where is it?”
Serena opened her mouth, trying to explain. “Mr. Umbert, we did find the hospital, and we even stationed people there. We were sure those supplies were ours, but who could’ve expected someone to swoop in and take them first?”
“Take them first?”
Troy Umbert raised his voice sharply, furious. “What are you people even good for? Didn’t you tell them who we are?
“They dared to cut in on Redwood’s claim? They must have a death wish!”
Serena nodded repeatedly. “Exactly! I told them our identity, and I even said that the hospital was ours from the start. But the moment they heard we were from the military base, they looked completely dismissive! They even said, ‘Redwood Military Base? That’s nothing. They don’t take us seriously at all!”
Back at the hospital, Serena had been completely suppressed, too afraid of Robin’s strength to fight back. Now that she was back on home ground, she exaggerated everything without restraint.
The others, still bitter over their failure, quickly joined in–painting Robin’s group as arrogant, lawless, and utterly unreasonable villains.
As expected, Troy nearly exploded with anger. “Good! Very good!
