Tim and Dane looked at each other. Both of them saw the same disbelief in the other’s eyes.
The “person” finally stopped right in front of them.
When they saw what it really was, all three of them froze. Their mouths slowly fell open.
That wasn’t a person.
It was a goose.
A big white goose had just walked up to them.
Aside from being about twice the size of a normal goose and looking much stronger, it was basically the same as the white geese people raised on farms.
But a giant goose carrying medicine in a plastic bag and delivering it like a messenger?
Wasn’t that a little too ridiculous?
Could a goose be that smart?
Seeing the three of them standing there like statues, Cotton grew impatient. He hadn’t wanted to deliver the medicine in the first place.
If that woman hadn’t forced him and tempted him with food…
The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. Cotton suddenly dropped the plastic bag onto the ground. Then he spread his wings wide and flapped hard, kicking up a small gust of wind.
“Honk! Honk!”
He honked angrily. That finally snapped the three people out of their shock. Dane quickly looked up at the security camera and called out, “Boss, your electric fence is in the way. We can’t reach the bag!”
Robin’s voice came through the speaker. “Follow the fence about 30 feet to the right. There’s a small gate there. Ella can come in alone.”
“Ella…”
Tim and Dane both looked at her with worry.
But Ella gave them a calm, reassuring look. “It’s fine,” she said. “I’ll go check it out.”

She walked about 30 or 40 steps to the right. Just like Robin said, there was a small gate there. But the gate blended almost perfectly with the razor wire fence. If Robin hadn’t told her where to look, she would never have noticed it.
Ella felt a chill run through her. Who exactly was the woman inside? And when had she turned a normal villa into something like this?
The small gate opened silently. Robin watched Ella enter through the cameras. At the same time, she gave Cotton a command.
Cotton stretched his neck in annoyance. He picked up the plastic bag with the medicine. Then he suddenly flicked his neck.
The plastic bag flew through the air in a smooth arc. It sailed over the sixteen–foot razor wire fence and landed perfectly in front of Henry.
Tim and Dane were completely stunned by the move. But this wasn’t the time to stand around in shock. They quickly opened the bag. Inside were bandages, blood–clotting powder, anti- inflammatory medicine, and antibiotics. There were even two packs of crunchy ramen snacks.
“Thank you!” Tim shouted toward the camera with deep gratitude.
Ella had already run over as soon as she entered the gate. When she saw that everything Robin sent was real, she finally let out a long breath of relief.
“Come in,” Robin said. “I’ll be waiting for you here.”
Ella’s body instantly tensed.
She snorted softly. Although she was clearly nervous, she tried to act calm as she walked deeper inside.
The farther she went, the more shocked she became.
The outside world was a complete mess.
But here, everything was unbelievably clean. Not just normal clean. It felt pure.
Ella couldn’t quite explain it. If she had to describe it, it felt like this place had never been touched by the apocalypse.
She could tell that everything was well–organized and in order, even though she hadn’t seen anyone yet. It was almost as if the disaster sweeping the world had somehow skipped this place entirely.
After walking a little farther, Ella suddenly stopped.
