Chapter 266 When Power Evolves
Robin had tested it before.
The Mental Amplification Serum only worked best when the body was at its weakest.
And right now, Lizzie was exactly in that state.

Robin carefully tipped the serum into Lizzie’s mouth. Even though Lizzie was unconscious, her body still reacted on instinct. She swallowed it down.
Almost at once, her eyes snapped open.
A faint green glow flickered deep in her pupils. For a moment, it felt like something had soaked into her very soul.
The pounding headache from mental exhaustion, the dizziness, the blackout–all of it vanished in an instant.
Every part of her mind felt alive. Comfortable. Awake. At the same time, she could clearly feel a surge of energy growing fast inside her. The green light faded from her eyes. She was fully conscious now.
Still dazed from that strange, almost unreal feeling, Lizzie looked around in confusion. Then her eyes widened. “W–what happened to me?!”
There were so many injured people waiting for her help, She knew she could have held on a little longer!
She didn’t have time to think. Lizzie rushed to one of the injured and reached out her hand.
A bright green light burst from her palm!
A giant zombie had punched the man and sent him flying. Nearly every bone in his body was broken. If he hadn’t been a strength–type ability user, he might have already died.
He lay there, barely breathing. He could feel his ribs pressing into his lungs. His life was slipping away.
After the green light washed over him, he suddenly felt all his pain was gone.
Both the healer and the patient froze in shock.
Lizzie stared at her hand.
Did that glowing light come from me?
The injured man looked just as stunned.
No pain?
Weren’t all of my bones broken?
He had been badly hurt. How could the pain disappear in a blink?

Am I dead? Is this heaven? Is that why I felt no pain?
Finished
Their eyes met, both filled with disbelief. Lizzie sucked in a sharp breath and suddenly understood. “My ability!!!”
The man shouted at the same time, his voice shaking. “Your ability!!!”
“Congrats,” Robin said with a small smile from the side. “You broke through.”
“I… I broke through…”
It took Lizzie a moment to process. While she was unconscious, someone must have made her drink something.
That liquid changed her ability.
“Was it you? It was you, right?!” Lizzie asked, staring at Robin with excitement.
This was unbelievable.
At that moment, Robin rose to a level in Lizzie’s mind that no normal person could reach.
After all, as far as anyone knew, there was no real training system. No one knew how to properly grow stronger. People could only rely on luck to break through.
That was why progress had always been so slow.
But just now, after drinking that unknown liquid, her strength had shot up all at once.
It went far beyond anything Lizzie had ever understood.
Her eyes burned with excitement.
To her, Robin was now like an ancient god who ruled over abilities.
‘You’ve got talent too,” Robin said.
She wasn’t lying. The Mental Amplification Serum was powerful, but it still depended on the person using
Lizzie’s sudden leap forward was also because of her ability.
‘I broke through. I can save more people now,” Lizzie whispered.
She didn’t waste a second. She rushed back to treating the injured with everything she had.
But even with such strong support in the back line, time was catching up to them. People were starting to
wear out.
Their hands trembled as they held their weapons. Their eyes turned red. A quiet sense of despair spread through the air.
There were just over 50 people in the base; more than 20 of them were ordinary civilians.
