End Times, Surviving with My Beastly Army novel Chapter 278

Chapter 278 Armored Convoy, Broken World

“No idea who they really are, but they’re seriously strong…”

For the past few days, David kept talking about the strong and the weak. But it wasn’t until yesterday that Isaac truly understood what strong meant.

“Ms. Neel looks cold,” Lizzie said, her eyes full of admiration, “but she’s actually really kind.

She clenched her fists. “I want to be like her one day. I’ll work hard and get stronger. When strong enough, I’ll go find them, maybe at Klam Zoo or Redwood Military Base.”

She had thought about leaving with them.

But deep down, she knew the truth. Robin and her team were too strong. And they were heading to Kapitol for something important.

With her current strength, she would only slow them down.

Still, she didn’t feel discouraged.

If she kept working harder, just a little more each day, one day, she would earn the right to stand beside them.

This time, the system rewarded them with 11 armored vehicles. Right in front of everyone, Robin casually pulled out two of them from her storage space.

Ella’s eyes nearly popped out.

By now, they all knew Robin had plenty of secrets. They already understood she wasn’t just a dual-ability user; she also had space abilities, making her a triple-ability user.

They had always thought that no matter what happened to Robin, they could handle it calmly. But when two massive machines appeared out of nowhere, they couldn’t stay cool anymore.

“Wait, Robin, you’re not even trying to hide it anymore, huh?” Dane swallowed hard, his eyes practically glowing.

No guy could say no to an armored vehicle.

The two vehicles rested quietly on the ground, like steel beasts. Their thick armor gleamed with a cold shine, as if they had been forged in the fires of war. The weapons mounted on top looked like sharp fangs, giving off a chilling sense of power.

“What’s there to hide?” Robin said calmly. “Anyone know how to drive?”

If the system gave them, they might as well use them. No point letting them sit in storage collecting dust.

“Me! Me! Me!!” Dane shot his hand up so fast he almost drooled. This was way too cool!

“Alright.” Robin nodded. “We’ll each take one.”

She had driven armored vehicles in her past life. Getting back into it felt easy.

Dane sucked in a sharp breath when he realized she was serious. “Wait-really?! You’re not joking, right? I can actually drive one?!”

Henry rolled his

eyes. “Are you driving or not? If not, move. I want a turn.”

Dane looked at him suspiciously. “Mr. Henry, you know how?”

Henry didn’t even blink. “No.”

Dane was speechless.

Henry added, calm and confident, “But I can learn.”

A universal truth: no guy could resist an armored vehicle.

“Kind of late to pick that up now,” Dane muttered as he climbed into the driver’s seat at lightning speed. “Mr. Henry, you’ll have plenty of chances later. Let’s get moving before it gets dark.”

Henry looked up at the blazing sun high in the sky.

“Right.”

The two armored vehicles roared to life.

The engines thundered through the air like roaring beasts, shaking everything around them. The tracks rolled forward with unstoppable force, crushing anything in their path. The vehicles moved like mobile fortresses-solid and untouchable.

On the empty highway, the two armored vehicles sped forward.

A broken blue road sign came into view. They had fully left Klam behind and were getting close to another city.

The road was no longer clear. Scattered cars blocked the way-some tilted, some flipped over
