Chapter 298 fermion

Rubin looked at the torn, festering injuries on Yvonne’s body, the edges swollen and rotting, a disturbing sight.
“Everyone, out.”
She turned to the others.
They hesitated, but Yvonne spoke first. “Go. She won’t hurt me.”
Only then did they exit one by one.
With no one left, Robin stopped holding back and pulled out clean clothes, alcohol, and bandages from her storage space.
Even with the Healing Potion, the wounds were too severe. The rotting flesh had to be cut away for her to heal faster.
“This might hurt, Ms. Dean. Try to bear with it.”
Watching her produce all those supplies out of nowhere, Yvonne paused, then smiled faintly. “It’s fine. Go ahead. At this point, I’m no longer that delicate.”
After days of barely hanging on in this place, she had already given up on surviving. It was these stubborn kids who refused to let go and somehow dragged back a sliver of hope.
Robin looked at her for a moment, then moved without hesitation. Clear alcohol splashed over the ruined wounds. First came the chill, then a sharp, searing pain shot straight through her nerves.
Alcohol on open wounds felt exactly how you’d expect.
“Ah…”
Yvonne sucked in a breath, her body going rigid as sweat broke out across her forehead.
Robin didn’t say a word. Once the wound was disinfected, her hand moved, blade flashing so fast that it was almost invisible as she cut away every bit of rotting flesh.
The pain nearly knocked Yvonne unconscious. In moments, her whole body was drenched in cold sweat.
Thankfully, Robin was fast. Before Yvonne could even process the pain, the bandages were already wrapping around her wounds, layer by layer, sealing them cleanly.
A cool, soothing sensation spread over the injuries, easing even the sharpest pain.
Yvonne’s mind cleared a little. She lay there weakly, soaked through like she’d just been pulled out of
water.
After catching her breath, she managed a faint smile. “Robin, after all these years… you really have grown
up…
Back then, Robin had been just a tiny thing, always trailing behind her, barely reaching her thigh.
Now she’d grown into someone who could stand on her own.
