Chapter 326 Another Power Arrives

All around them stretched rolling greet hills. The road was just a basic concrete strip, now cracked all over, weeds pushing through until it was barely recognizable.

There weren’t many zombies here. The place was too remote.

Ahead, dozens of vehicles were parked in a dense cluster, mostly trucks and midsized vans, clearly here for the granary.

Those had to be the other bases Rolf mentioned.

Hearing engines approach, some people standing around the vehicles turned to look, their eyes lighting up.

Tyrant Base!

Tyrant Base is here! Damn, are those armored vehicles? I’ve only seen those on TV. This is my first time seeing one in real life!

Holy crap, those things look insane If I could ride in one just once, I’d die happy!

Hey, don’t say that!

I actually tried to get into Tyrant Base before, but their requirements were too high, so I ended up joining another base.

I thought they were strong, but not by that much. Now it’s obvious, the difference is huge. If I’d known, I would’ve tried harder back then. I should’ve done whatever it took to squeeze my way in.

Yeah, same here.

Keep it down. Our base leaders are right there.”

A crowd quickly gathered, their faces full of envy.

r Rolf stepped out of the car behind them and greeted the others with a smile. Hello, everyone. I’m Rolf Pearson, base commander of Tyrant Base. Just call me Rolf.

Uh…”

The others looked a little surprised.

They had expected the commander of Tyrant Base to step out of one of the armored vehicles.

Rolf caught the look, and his lips twitched.

It was an armored vehicle, for God’s sake. Of course, he wanted to ride in one.

But no matter how much he hinted before they left, Dane had acted like he didn’t understand a word, refusing to budge.

Atas di commander, Rolf couldn’t push too hard without losing face, so he’d been stuck in a regular

car.

Still, no one questioned it

Tyrant Base’s strength spoke for itself. In this world, strength was everything. If you weren’t as strong, you didn’t get to question anything.

Some even thought Rolf must have had his reasons.

Rolf, I’ve heard a lot about you. I’m David Berry from Sunrise Base. We’re set up in a chemical plant nearby, with about 200 members. Glad to meet you.

Rolf, I’m Bob Maldano from Westfield Base. We’re in Canstonville in Ravenholt, with around 100 members.”

Rolf, Kevin Cunningham here from Global Base. We’re based in the eastern development zolie about 400 people.”

Leaders from each base introduced themselves one by one. Robin quietly studied them.

same group.

Just as that thought crossed her mind, the sound of engines came from behind.

This time, two groups arrived together.

In front were three military trucks, painted in that unmistakable army green.

Behind them was another convoy, uniform in color and model, just as formal.

lit up. Leading the way was Redwood Military Base

She didn’t expect them to show up too.

She turned, about to say something to Robin.

But Robin only curled her lips slightly, completely unsurprised, like she’d known all along Redwood would be here.

Klay was just as excited. If Redwood Military Base is here, does that mean Martin and Drake are here too?

Stay calm.

Robin lowered her voice. We shouldn’t act like we know them.”

The green trucks came to a steady stop in front of the crowd.

The door opened, and a pair of military boots hit the ground.
