Chapter 327 Unwelcome Allies
“I’m Martin Bax from Redwood Military Base of Klam”
Martin stepped forward and introduced himself, his hand outstretched.
“Klam?”
Rolf frowned. “Weren’t only Ravenholt bases supposed to be here? Why is a Klam base involved?” And not just any base, a military one.
Back when the apocalypse first broke out, he’d heard broadcasts from Redwood Military Basc in Klam.
But the distance was too far, and he didn’t want to answer to anyone, so he built his own base instead.
He hadn’t expected to run into them here.
Sensing the tension, David from Sunrise Base quickly jumped in to smooth things over. “Hey, Rolf, Redwood Military Base joined in later. We didn’t have time to inform you.
“But everyone’s here for the same goal, supplies. And Redwood Military Base is no joke in Klam. With them here, this operation is guaranteed to be a success.”
Rolf forced a smile. “I see. I’ve heard of your base for a long time. It’s an honor to meet you. You really do live up to the name.”
The words sounded polite, but his mood had already/soured.
He’d come here planning to use the other bases as cannon fodder, ideally taking the granary for himself.
Now these unexpected players were throwing a wrench into everything.
“You’re too kind.”
Martin smiled slightly. “Tyrant Base lives up to its name too. Those two armored vehicles look pretty impressive.”
It sounded like a compliment, but somehow Rolf caught an undertone he didn’t like.
“Just got lucky, got lucky…”
He chuckled awkwardly, neither confirming nor denying.
Martin understood immediately.
With that kind of firepower, it could only be Robin.
The real power behind Redwood Military Base was standing in someone else’s camp. He had no idea what she was planning.
“Well, looks like everyone’s here.”

A casual voice cut in.
Everyone turned to see a young man in a white lab coat stepping out of a black car at the front of another
convoy.
The moment Erin saw his face, he blurted out, “J–Jack?”
Jack Neel, Robin’s so–called brother, Wade’s, eldest son.
“Erin?”
Jack looked just as surprised. “What are you doing here?”
His gaze shifted, then his voice jumped an octave. “Robin? What are you doing here?”
Robin didn’t look surprised at all. She shrugged. “Watch your mouth. Cali me Aunt Robin.”
Jack let out a sharp laugh. “Since when
you my aunt?
“My dad already told me. You cut ties with the Neels a long time ago. You sold your shares to him, and we’ve never acknowledged you anyway, so don’t go claiming family here.”
Robin didn’t react to the jab.
Erin’s expression changed. “Jack
Watch it.”
Jack raised a brow. “Seriously, Erin? You’re standing up for her now?
“I don’t get it. Since when did you two get close? You used to hate her. What did she do, brainwash you?”
Erin wanted to explain, but after a moment, she stayed silent.
Knowing Robin, she probably didn’t want her wasting words here.
And Jack clearly wasn’t someone who would listen anyway.
If he regretted it later, that was on him.
“You…know each other?”
