Chapter 335 Fighting Spiders

Beads of sweat ran down her forehead, and Monica bit down hard, shutting out every sound around her one by one.

It felt as if her world had shrunk down to just herself alone.

Then, at last, her eyes caught a flash of a rapidly approaching shadow. Monica’s eyes narrowed slightly, and the triangular bayonet carved a razorsharp streak of light through the air.

A wet, bursting sound split through the silence.

Viscous liquid erupted in an instant. The green spider was pinned dead against the triangular bayonet, all eight of its legs still thrashing and clawing wildly.

You thought you could walk all over me?Monica snarled.

She wiped her face hard with a ferocious swipe, and a savage, fierce light flashed through her eyes.

Everything around them had collapsed into absolute chaos. Everyone was fighting with every last scrap of strength they had, and to stay alive, every single person there had been pushed right to the very edge of madness.

The massive forms that had been lurking in the shadows could no longer hold themselves back.

Their long, thick legs shifted with deceptive lightness through the ashgray webbing, and at last their full shapes came into terrifying view. It was revolting.

These giant spiders stood well over three feet tall, their bodies swollen and grotesquely contorted like something torn straight from a malevolently twisted nightmare. Their hairy legs were riddled with lumps and barbed spines, and every single step they took came with a wet, sticky sound.

Their abdomens bulged hideously, as though stuffed to bursting with rotting flesh, and the stench they gave off was absolutely putrid.

All of their eyes were shot through with blood, blazing with madness and ravenous hunger, and a foul, reeking liquid dripped steadily from their maws. One look at these abhorrent creatures was enough to make anyone want to flee in screaming terror.

I’d rather face a whole horde of zombies than deal with these things any day!Ella exclaimed.

One glance was all it took for every hair on Ella’s body to stand on end. These eightlegged nightmares were the most disgusting creatures in the entire world

The hissing of the mutant spiders wove and reverberated through the darkness like a knell of death, hammering relentlessly against everyone’s alreadyfrayed nerves.

The temperature inside the nest plummeted without warning, and a bonepiercing cold surged forward like a rising tide, forcing every person there to shudder against their own will. The suffocating tension in the air was like an invisible, airtight net drawing tighter and tighter around them all.

Finished

One enormous spider struck first. It spread its razorsharp claws wide and lunged at the group with breathtaking speed!

Screams tore through the air all at once. Robin twisted sideways in a sharp dodge, narrowly escaping that lethal strike, and swung her ice blade without a heartbear’s hesitation, bringing it crashing down hard against the spider!

The blade met the spider’s carapace, and the impact rang out sharply, scattering a bright spray of sparks. The spider let out a furious, seething shriek and launched into another attack.

It moved with blinding speed, but Robin’s reflexes were every bit as fast. Pale blue flashes of frostlight swept through the air in rapid succession, and she severed all eight of the giant spider’s legs with chilling

ease.

But the others weren’t nearly so fortunate.

As the battle raged on, more and more mutant spiders p

poured out from every corner of the nest.

They swarmed in dense, suffocating masses,

ming nearly every inch of the granary, and launched into a frenzied allout siege. Everyone found themselves completely surrounded on every side.

The scene was pure, overwhelming chaos. The giant spiders attacked with savage, merciless ferocity, and their massive legs were their sharpest weapons. Every time those legs rose and fell, they drove clean through a person!

Everyone struck back with everything they had.

Flames, lightning, and bladed weapons blazed and crackled together all at once in one breathless, desperate, brilliant display.

But as time dragged on, they realized with dawning horror that they weren’t facing just a handful of giant spiders. They were up against the entire living ecosystem of the nest.

In the darkened corners, even more giant spiders materialized in silence and clustered into dense, writhing groups. Every attack the spiders launched carried a lethal threat, and every desperate dodge was

r like dancing on the very edge of death itself.

The nest reverberated with the spidershissing and the group’s furious battle cries, all blending together into one terrible, bonechilling symphony.

There’s no way to keep this up.Robin’s voice rang out, cold and sharp as a blade.

She wove through the spidersrelentless attacks, sweeping the nearby provisions into her storage space, while her gaze raked swiftly across the ceiling and locked onto a specific spot.

That spot appeared to be the very center of the entire web network.

And lurking there was a colossal, ominous shadow.
