Chapter 67 No Different from a Beast

Ella’s eyes were full of disbelief. “If you can even eat your own kind, how are you different from a beast? How are you different from those zombies!”
“Oh, that’s right.”
Hearing that, the boss suddenly got excited. “You’re right. When I tried to eat it back then, my wife said the same thing. I couldn’t stand her fake moral act, like I’d done something unforgivable while she stood on some moral high ground judging me.”
A shocking thought suddenly rose in Robin’s mind. “Could it be…
“That’s right!”
性
The boss’s eyes lit up with madness. “Didn’t she say I was no different from a beast? Didn’t she look down on me? So I turned her into a zombie, too. Hehe, guess what happened?
“After she became a zombie, that woman who kept calling me a beast went crazy the moment she saw our son’s corpse!
“But I refused to let her eat. I made her suffer! Hehe, serves her right for saying that about me. Wasn’t she so righteous?”
“You are truly insane.”
Ella stared at him in disbelief. How could such a person exist in the world?!
This man in front of them was a thousand times more terrifying than a zombie!
“I’m insane?”
The boss’s face twisted into a smile. Under the bright flashlight, his eyes were bloodshot. “It’s such a shame. I waited here for so long and finally met you two. I thought I could have a big meal. Do you know how long I’ve been craving this taste? I didn’t expect that you wouldn’t eat the instant noodles I gave you. You’re so annoying!”
He spoke as if he were completely justified. If someone only listened to his tone, they might think Robin and Ella had done something terrible.
“Disgusting.”
Robin said coldly, “Someone like you shouldn’t be alive.”
“Whether I live or not isn’t up to you!”
The boss’s face was hideous. “You hate what I do only because you haven’t tasted human meat yet. How about this? Since I waited so long, show me some pity. Can’t you pity me? If one of you kills the other first, I’ll definitely let the winner share the fruits of victory with me!
I’m sure you’ll fall in love with the taste.”

Ella couldn’t stand listening anymore. She swung her fist straight into his face. “Go to hell!”
Bang!
With a dull thud, the boss groaned. Blood streamed from his nose as he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

“I should’ve left those zombies downstairs alive,” Ella said angrily. “Someone like him deserves to be fed to them!”
“Then let’s feed him to the zombies.”
Robin said calmly, “Tie him up. These days, zombies are the one thing we aren’t short of.”
She tore a piece of the bedsheet and stabbed down with a knife. The boss let out a scream and instantly woke up in pain.
Realizing he was tightly bound, he struggled. “What are you doing? What do you want?”
“So noisy.”
Ella punched him in the nose again.
The boss hadn’t even been awake for a minute before he passed out again,
Using the blood flowing from his thigh, Robin drew a peach blossom on the bedsheet and hung it outside the window.
Dane and Tim would definitely understand what this meant when they saw it after delivering the supplies.
The next morning, when Robin opened her eyes, the boss was wriggling toward the door like a worm.
She casually grabbed the ashtray from the bedside table and threw it at him.
Bang!
The boss trembled. The glass ashtray smashed against the wall, shattering into pieces. Several shards grazed his face, leaving deep cuts.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
Robin lazily opened her eyes. “Did I say you could leave?”
The boss turned his head awkwardly. “We have no grudge. How about I let you go, and you let me go? We have different paths. From now on, you take your way, and I’ll take mine. Even if we meet, we can just pretend we don’t know each other, okay?”
