Chapter 68 A Gross Meal
“Robin, Ella, are you there?”
It was Dane’s voice.
Ella quickly went to open the door.
As soon as Dane walked in, he saw the boss lying on the floor like a dead dog. “What’s this?”
“Let me give him a proper introduction,” Robin said with a smirk.
“This is our new companion.”
“New companion?”
Tim looked down in surprise.
The man was tied up like a worm. This didn’t look like the way you would treat a new friend.
Finished
Ella gave a meaningful look. “This man cooked and ate his own son. He even tried to attack Robin and me. A hero like him deserves special treatment.”
“What?”
Both Tim and Dane were shocked. When they looked at the boss again, their eyes were filled with disgust and contempt.
Morning sunlight shone down on the asphalt road. Five people were walking over from the direction of the city.
One of them glanced to the side and suddenly got excited. “There’s a trash bin over there!”
The other three immediately perked up. “If there’s a trash bin, there must be food!”
The four of them rushed toward the garbage pile, afraid that if they were too slow, anything edible would be taken first.
In an instant, the area around them became empty. Leland stomped his foot angrily. “A bunch of useless idiots!”
That trash bin hadn’t been cleaned for over a month. Garbage was scattered around it, and no one knew what was inside anymore. After so long, everything had fermented into thick, sticky clumps, giving off a terrible stench.
But those four people acted like they couldn’t smell it at all. They dug through it excitedly!
“A bone! A chicken bone!”
One person pulled out a plastic bag. It was a ready–to–eat chicken wing. Inside, there was still one bone

with some scraps of meat left on it.
But after so much time, the meat was already covered in fly eggs, and tiny maggots could be seen wriggling.
Finished:
The person swallowed hard. He looked like he was making a big decision. Suddenly, he ran to Leland’s side with the half–eaten chicken wing. “Boss, it’s meat! Chicken! Here, eat it!”
Looking at the black–green slime on the package and the rotting meat on the bone, Leland felt a wave of
nausea.
But his stomach growled loudly. What he couldn’t accept even more was that while he felt disgusted, he also wanted to eat it.
The man clearly saw the hunger in his eyes. He ignored his own hunger and stuffed the chicken bone into Leland’s hand. “Boss, eat it.”
Leland stared at it for two seconds. Finally, he couldn’t hold back anymore. He tore open the package and, with his eyes closed, shoved the bone covered in maggots and eggs into his mouth!
“Ugh…”
So gross!
It was really disgusting!
Just thinking about what he had eaten, goosebumps crawled all over his body.
He was the chairman of a listed company, with endless wealth. He lived in a three–story villa, owned countless properties, had women throwing themselves at him, always had bodyguards when he went out, and wherever he went, he was treated like a star. Every meal he used to have was top–tier cuisine that ordinary people wouldn’t dare eat even once in months.
That was his life!
That was the life he wanted to keep forever!
The world was so unfair!
As Leland thought about this, his eyes turned red.
The other three also found other pieces of rotten food in the trash bin. They didn’t have as many deep thoughts as Leland. The moment they saw food, their eyes lit up. They shoved everything into their mouths without hesitation.
Leland looked ahead and suddenly froze.
That car…
