didn’t reply. Caleb took Arden out to eat.

At the restaurant, he ordered all her favorite dishes. Looking at his sweet, quiet sister, he let out a heavy sigh.
“Arden, what’s really going on in that head of yours?”
“I didn’t tell you before,” she said gently. “After Dorian and I registered the marriage, we signed a contract. We’re set to divorce in five years.”
“There was a contract?”
She nodded. “Yeah. The people behind the construction and chemical plant incidents still haven’t been found. Caleb, if I divorce Dorian now, everything we’ve worked for will be for nothing.”
Without money or power, investigating would become nearly impossible. And if it turned out their uncle was behind it, the Wynns would have to take out loans just to repay the five billion to the Vales. At that point, there’d be no stopping whatever trap he laid.
“But Dorian had a child with someone else. He doesn’t care about you.”
“Don’t worry, I don’t have feelings for him. I’m fine with the way things are.”
Caleb narrowed his eyes. “Are you really telling me the truth?”
He still remembered how her eyes lit up when she looked at Dorian. Back then, their parents had tried to stop the marriage, but she said it herself—she liked him. She married him willingly.
Arden poured him a cup of coffee. “I am. Dorian told me from day one–don’t try to control him. We live completely separate lives. We can both date whoever we want. No interference.”
Caleb frowned. He asked, “Did you sleep with him?” Arden nodded. “Yeah.” His jaw tightened. That made him angrier.
At Vale Group, Lucien was about to upload the reversal video when he realized someone had already posted it.
And not just someone–several top influencers with millions of followers had all dropped the same footage.
The headlines were explosive.
“Caught in 4K: Actress Vivienne Ash Faked a Miscarriage to Frame Arden. Watch the Clip.”
“Desperate to Marry Dorian Vale, Vivienne Ash Faked Her Fall. Paternity of Baby in Doubt.”
“Reversal Bombshell: The ‘Innocent‘ Starlet Is a Liar. Full Footage Inside.”
The internet exploded. Reactions came flooding in, fast and furious.

Chapter 39 Unspoken Truths
[Third–angle footage? Poor Arden, she got totally framed.]
[Vivienne needs to be canceled. She fell on her own and still blamed Arden.”
Finished
[Anyone notice how Arden never fought back? No matter how much she was bashed online, she stayed quiet.]
[Feels like this whole thing was staged. And Vivienne even held a press conference about it.]
[She’s clearly obsessed with marrying Dorian.]
[Did you seriously look into the camera and say the baby was Dorian’s? You thought that’d force him to marry you?]
[Funny how Dorian never showed up at the press conference.. Guess that plan backfired.]
[Also, Arden? Absolutely gorgeous. Sweet, classy, glowing skin, seductive eyes. Probably still in college back then. Even a ponytail looked good on her.]
[Apologies, Arden. We got played.]
[She was campus queen at Avalen University. Did tons of volunteer work. Everyone who knew her had only good things to say.]
[Vivienne nearly ruined her life.]
Lucien rushed to Dorian’s office and knocked frantically. “Sir, sir!”
Dorian was already irritated. Arden hadn’t answered his texts or picked up his calls. Lucien said quickly, “Someone beat us to the reversal video.”
Dorian asked, “What? Who was it?”
“All major accounts. Millions of followers each. At least five.”
The situation was spinning out of control. If the video didn’t come from Buzznet, Arden and her family would definitely think Dorian had no intention of clearing her name. And so would the old man, Eugenia, his parents… everyone.
Dorian’s expression shifted. It was rare, but he actually looked anxious.
Arden’s soft smile flashed through his mind. He loosened his tie. “Then go find out who posted it.”
Lucien asked, “Should we still release it on our end?”
“Yeah, stick to the original plan.”
As Lucien walked out, Dorian’s phone buzzed again. The guys had started tagging him in the group chat.
Cassian sent a message, “Bro, someone dropped the video before you. Let me guess–some secret admirer of Arden?”
Theo replied, “So much for your big hero moment. Looks like someone else beat you to it.”

Damon sent a message, “Dorian, you’re so done.”
Cassian said, “Tried to act like the protective husband, and boom–someone else beat you to the punch. Honestly? I can already see it. You’re about to star in your own sad little ‘win her back‘ saga.”
