At the Noir residence, a maid was watering the flowers when she spotted a familiar car pulling up outside.

The window rolled down, revealing a sharply defined, handsome face.

“Young Master?”

Richard Noir’s eldest son nodded. “Are Dad and Mom home?”

“Madam is home, and Miss Chloe is here too!” The maid hurried over to open the gate.

Richard had gone to the office for the day, while Eleanor was getting ready for a small afternoon gathering.

She was standing in front of the mirror when a familiar figure appeared in the reflection.

Before she could speak, an excited voice rang out from upstairs.

“Vincent! You’re back!” Chloe came running downstairs with a bright smile.

When she reached him, she peeked behind him and saw his assistant carrying armfuls of beautifully wrapped gifts, stacking them neatly on the floor.

Big Brother was always bringing her presents.

Vincent nodded. “Then I’ll stop by the office first.”

He’d been so focused on finally meeting his younger sister that he’d almost forgotten Chloe was still standing beside him.

“I brought gifts for you too,” he said. “I’ll give them to you later.”

Chloe instantly brightened again. “I knew you wouldn’t forget about me!”

Inside the car, Vincent thought for a moment before speaking to his assistant.

“There’s a company under the family called Venus Cosmetics. I heard it’s been doing fairly well recently. Contact their CEO and see whether we can connect our overseas raw material suppliers with them.”

As far as he remembered, Venus had been performing terribly.

The company had survived only because the Noir Group kept quietly supporting it behind the

scenes.

A business barely clinging to life wasn’t something the Noir family needed. Still, it was their only cosmetics company. He wanted to see if it could still be saved.

“Yes, Mr. Noir.”

By the time Iris arrived at Venus Cosmetics, it was almost time for the meeting. She sat behind her desk, reviewing documents.

“Did they say why they’re here?”

“Just a routine inspection,” Bella replied. “I also heard the representative just returned from

overseas.”
