Chapter 159 My Sister

From the back of the conference room, someone whispered under their breath.

“Oh my God… Don’t tell me Mr. Noir is President Zero’s sugar daddy.”

The employee beside her gave a distracted nod.

“I mean… they do look good together.”

Nick stood there, completely speechless.

Vincent paid no attention to the strange looks around the room. His gaze remained on Iris.

“Mom and Dad gave you theirs,” he said. “But this one’s from your big brother. That makes it different.”

Realizing there was no point arguing, Iris accepted the card with a small smile.

“Then… thank you, Big Brother.”

The room fell silent.

Big brother?

The employee who had been secretly shipping the two of them nearly choked.

I really need to stop jumping to conclusions.”

Nick’s face drained of color..

After standing there in stunned silence for several long seconds, he finally managed to force out the question.

“Mr. Noir…”

“You and President Zero are…?”

Vincent turned to him, his expression colder than ever.

“Tell me, Mr. Nick. Who do you think I’m going to believe?”

“You…”

“Or my little sister?”

Nick felt as if the floor had disappeared beneath his feet.

Until this moment, he still hadn’t fully accepted that Iris was Vincent Noir’s biological sister.

He’d always assumed that, as one of Richard Noir’s longtime executives, Vincent would naturally side with him over a CEO who had only recently joined the company.

Now he realized just how ridiculous that assumption had been.

Iris wasn’t simply the company’s new president.

She was Vincent’s own sister.

The answer had never been in doubt.

Worse still…

He was the one who had started this entire confrontation

Vincent’s voice was calm, but every word carried a sharp edge.

“My sister embezzled $700,000 from the company?” A faint, humorless smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. “Our parents give her well over a million dollars in spending money every month. Why would she steal pocket change?–

Other than the occasional nervous swallow, no one in the room dared make a sound.

None of them had ever imagined that the executive who had suddenly been parachuted into the company was actually President Noir’s younger sister.

Standing beside Vincent Noir, Mr. Nick felt his head buzzing. He racked his brain, but he had no idea how he was supposed to salvage the situation

Seeing him speechless. Vincent turned to everyone in the conference room, his expression icy.

The room fell completely silent.

“Don’t ever use cheap tricks like this to frame a member of the Noir family again.

He knew that even if he hadn’t shown up today. Iris would have been able to handle everything herself.

Vincent shot Mr. Nick a glance.

“Since Vice President Nick asked me to make the final decision, then here’s my ruling.” He paused. “You’re suspended pending an internal investigation.”

By now, anyone with half a brain could see what had really happened.

Mr. Nick’s face turned deathly pale. “President Noir! I didn’t know she was your sister! Please, give me one more chance!”

Vincent looked at him coldly. “So you’re saying that if she weren’t my sister, it would’ve been perfectly acceptable to frame her?”

Iris regarded him with icy eyes.

“You didn’t care whether your superior was capable. You didn’t care whether her decisions benefited the company. The only reason you targeted me was because I made it harder for you to line your own pockets.”

If their scheme had succeeded, she would have been framed for embezzling such a massive sum that she could have ended up behind bars.

She returned to her seat, opened a file on her computer, and projected a financial report onto the large screen.

The report was simple and easy to understand

It clearly showed that someone had indeed been siphoning money from Venus–but that person wasn’t her.

“W–Where did you get that?”

The moment Mr. Nick saw the report, panic overtook him.

Ignoring everyone’s stares, he rushed to the front and tried to block the projection.

But it was useless.

Even when he stood in front of the screen, parts of the data were still projected onto his body.

Vincent raised an eyebrow
