Chapter 300 Product Of Love
“Was it the Capital City Violin Association?” Eleanor asked in surprise. “Their admission standardse incredibly high. I can’t believe our Iris is this talented!”
Chloe, however, remained unconvinced.
“Did you actually pass?”
In her mind, there was no way Iris could pass an exam that difficult.
The moment she finished speaking, Iris calmly took out her membership certificate.
Eleanor blinked in surprise.
“That was fast. Doesn’t the Capital City Violin Association usually take up to a week to release their results?”
What she didn’t know was that Professor Park had started preparing the certificate the very day she received Iris’s application.
By the time she left today, the certificate had already been completed and handed directly to her, saving everyone a bit of extra work.
After all, Iris’s acceptance into the association had never been in doubt.
Chloe immediately took the certificate, convinced it had to be fake and eager to find something wrong
with it.
She examined it from top to bottom for several minutes.
Nothing.
The official seal was identical to the one she had seen on genuine association documents before.
There wasn’t a single flaw she could point out.
“I can’t believe it,” Eleanor exclaimed happily. “Our Iris just started college and she’s already been accepted into the Capital City Violin Association. You’re Mommy’s precious girl!”
She pulled Iris into a tight hug before cupping her face and inspecting her from every angle.
“You look thinner than before. Have you been eating properly? You’ve only been away for a little while! I need to have the kitchen prepare something nutritious for you.”
Watching the scene unfold, Chloe felt her chest tighten.
The moment Iris returned home, everyone’s attention naturally shifted back to her.
Yet she couldn’t throw a tantrum.
All she could do was sit quietly and pretend she didn’t care while resentment churned inside her.

right,” Iris said. “I drove Ares’s car home today. Julian will come by tomorrow morning to pick it up.”
“That’s fine. I’ll let the butler know,” Eleanor replied teasingly. “You and Ares really are close.”
Then she grinned.
“You remind me of your father and me when we were dating. We were inseparable. Not even a chasaw could’ve cut us apart.”
“That’s a bit exaggerated,” Iris said.
“Exaggerated? Not at all!” Eleanor laughed. “If your father and I had only been a business marriage without feelings, where would our four children have come from?”
Chloe’s expression immediately darkened.
Four children.
The statement had naturally included everyone in the family–but somehow she still felt excluded.
Pouting, she asked softly, “What about me? Am I not the product of Mom and Dad’s love too?”
Richard chuckled. “Of course you are, Chloe. You’re all our precious children.”
A servant soon brought tea.
The four of them sat together, sipping tea and chatting about school life and recent developments at the
company.
Iris loved moments like this.
This was the kind of family life she had always dreamed about.
Richard and Eleanor were incredibly busy, yet they still made time to come home and spend time with their children whenever they could.
Meanwhile, Samuel and Vanessa had never built businesses anywhere near as large, yet they couldn’t even
be bothered to see her.
In the end, it had nothing to do with being busy.
People either cared, or they didn’t.
Everything else was just an excuse.
Iris also told them about Mr. Liam’s plan to take her overseas for the competition.
Richard agreed almost immediately.

Eleanor looked at her curiously. “Didn’t you say you’ve been busy preparing events at school? And weren’t you applying for student government too? It doesn’t seem like a good time to abandon your responsibilities and go overseas.”

“I was only joking! Of course I’ll stay home and keep Mom and Dad company while Iris is away.”
