“Someone who earned a recommendation from Mr. Liam must be a violinist recruited from overseas with a huge salary package, right?”
“Exactly. I’m actually looking forward to meeting her.”
“We should be thanking her. If we stayed one member short, we wouldn’t even be able to attend the exchange program in the United States.”
Everyone on the team–including Mr. Liam himself–shared the same opinion.
In their eyes, forcing any of the association’s current members into the lineup would lower the team’s overall standard.
Beep. Beep.
The electronic lock sounded twice before the conference room door opened from the outside.
Everyone immediately turned toward the entrance expectantly.
The moment Iris walked in. several people widened their eyes in surprise.
“Isn’t that the newcomer who took the membership exam a few days ago?”
“Now that you mention it, I remember her too. Is she here to deliver some paperwork?”
The anticipation that had filled the room instantly faded.
For a moment, they had thought Mr. Liam’s mysterious reinforcement had finally arrived.
Instead, it was just a newly admitted member.
“Iris is here. Come on over.” Mr. Liam waved her forward warmly.
Iris walked to his side and placed a stack of documents on the table.
Then she remained standing there,
One of the members couldn’t help speaking up.
“Miss, you can head out now. We’re in the middle of a meeting.”
Iris nodded.
“I know.” She paused. “I’m here for the meeting.”
Before anyone could react, Mr. Liam added calmly, “That’s right. Iris is the final member of our team.”
The room exploded. “What kind of joke is this?”

may be talented at composing, but she hasn’t gone through the association’s systematic training How can she represent us in an international competition?”
“Exactly! This isn’t some casual performance. It’s an important exchange event representing ourountry’s image.”
“There are members who’ve trained here for years and still didn’t pass your evaluation. How can hand the opportunity to someone who just joined?”
The opposition was immediate and overwhelming.
Mr. Liam had expected this reaction. He pointed to the empty seat beside him, signaling for fris to s down first.
“I understand everyone’s concerns,” he began patiently.
“Most of you have only just met Iris and don’t know her capabilities yet. And no. I never intended to place her directly into the lineup without any evaluation-”
“But the exchange program is only a month away!”
Someone interrupted him.
“Are you planning to raise her to our level in a single month? Even if she’s a genius, that’s impossible!”
The previously orderly meeting room quickly descended into chaos.
Voices of protest echoed from every direction.
Mr. Liam originally intended to reason with them one by one.
Now he realized the situation was beyond his control.
Helplessly, he glanced toward Iris.
Iris looked back at him. “The training plan you proposed is twenty days, correct?”
“Yes.” Mr. Liam nodded. “The remaining ten days will be used to integrate you into the team and help everyone build chemistry.”
Iris stood up. Facing the entire room, she spoke calmly.
“Right now, my proficiency with the violin is certainly below that of everyone here, who trains every day.”
“But twenty days from now, I’ll give all of you an answer you’ll be satisfied with.”
Unfortunately, not everyone appreciated her confidence.
“Easy for you to say.” One member crossed his arms. “What if we put our hopes in you and you fail? Then

our entire exchange program is finished.”
“What if you had my guarantee as well?”
A voice suddenly came from the doorway.
Everyone turned.
Professor Park entered the room, with Ethan following behind him.
The two had apparently run into each other in the hallway.
Professor Park and Mr. Liam held enormous influence within the association..
With both openly backing Iris, many of the doubters finally calmed down.
Then Ethan chose the worst possible moment to speak.
“I’ll guarantee her too.” He looked toward Iris. “Miss Noir is an exceptionally talented violinist.“.
The room fell silent.
Nobody had questioned the endorsements from the two professors.

But when Ethan added his support, suspicious looks immediately began moving back and forth between him and Iris.
Clearly, everyone assumed there was some sort of personal relationship involved.
Mr. Liam cleared his throat.
“Let’s do this. My training schedule for Iris is twenty days. In ten days, everyone can evaluate her progress. If the results fall short of expectations, I’ll personally provide an explanation to the entire team.”
