Iris smiled. “No need. You should go. Are you here for something?”

“One of my grandmother’s relatives is coming to Capital City, so my grandfather asked me to get one of our vacant villas ready for them.”

Ares studied her for a moment.

“Did something happen? I heard about the incident at St. Grace Medical Center. Has it affected you? You’re still the medical representative for Lytton Pharmaceuticals.”

He noticed that her expression didn’t look good and couldn’t help feeling concerned.

“Nothing happened. I can handle it myself.”

Ares nodded. He didn’t ask any further and left.

Iris waited for a while before finally receiving the food from Gordon.

Knowing that the order was for Iris, he had even added severá extra side dishes.
