Iris picked up her backpack and was about to head out when a familiar face peeked through the classroom door.
“Hannah?”
Her eyes immediately landed on the large bruise covering Hannah’s wrist.
The bandages she had been wearing earlier had also been removed.
Hannah stood awkwardly at the doorway for a long time before finally walking inside.
“Iris…”
Even after moving to a new apartment, and even though her parents and brother no longer posed much of a threat…
“Chloe and the others are still…”
She lowered her head.
“And Chloe is really careful.”
“When she bullies me, she never shows up personally.”
“If she does appear, she searches me first.”
“She makes sure I can’t record anything.”
Then she added quietly,
“And she has a lot of videos of me…”
Iris nodded.
Standing up, she gently took Hannah’s hand.
“Let’s get your wounds re-bandaged first.”
“I’ll figure out the rest tomorrow.”
After informing Eleanor, Iris took Hannah to Zane’s car.

Watching Eleanor hang up the phone, Richard looked puzzled.
“Why isn’t Iris taking the driver’s car home again?”
Eleanor smiled warmly.
“Iris finally has friends.”
“We should support that.”
“As long as she’s happy, that’s all that matters.”
Inside the car, Hannah glanced at Zane’s business suit.
Then she remembered seeing him at the bar that night, standing behind Iris.
“Mr. Zane… are you Iris’s driver?”
Zane looked at Iris through the rearview mirror.
Only after seeing her nod did he answer.
“Not exactly, I’m her assistant.”
“Because of certain circumstances, I can’t say much.”
“So I often pretend to be a taxi driver when meeting her.”
Iris ignored the conversation.
Instead, she grabbed the laptop from the passenger seat and placed it on her lap..
Her fingers flew across the keyboard.
Within minutes, she’d created a detailed spreadsheet.
Curious, Hannah leaned over for a look.
She was stunned.
The spreadsheet contained performance evaluations for most of Foundation Class.
Each student’s strengths and weaknesses had been analyzed individually.

There were even recommendations about which topics they should focus on to improve their
scores.

“Iris…”
Hannah stared at the screen.
“Are you trying to improve the grades of the entire class?”
“It’s just a basic plan.” Iris continued typing. “The rest depends on them.”

After only one day, she’d already identified each student’s strengths and weaknesses based solely on the questions they had asked.
While waiting at a traffic light, Zane glanced back.
“Boss.”
“The company already has a mountain of work waiting for you.”
“The research institute has issues too.”
“You only have so much time and energy. Is this really worth it?”
“Drive.” Iris didn’t answer directly. She simply continued working on the spreadsheet.
Zane understood.
Her silence meant yes.
Hannah stared at the dense rows of data for a long time.
Then she suddenly spoke up.
“Um…”
“If you need help… I can help too.”
“My grades are pretty good.”
“And I think I’m decent at tutoring people.”
Iris thought back to Hannah’s academic record.
“That works.”
Having another person helping would save her a great deal of time.
At St, Grace Medical Center, Xavier was in the middle of seeing patients when he looked up.

Then he saw the two girls again.
His eye twitched.
He smacked the desk dramatically.
Unfortunately, he didn’t dare yell at Iris.
So he redirected his frustration toward Hannah.

“Are you treating my medical advice as background noise? Do you remember what I told you yesterday?”
Hadn’t he repeatedly emphasized the importance of changing the dressings and getting proper rest?
Then why had she come back with fresh injuries?
Despite his complaints, he carefully cleaned and re-bandaged every wound.
Soon, however, his expression turned serious.
These new injuries….
They didn’t look accidental.
“Hey.”
He frowned.
“These bruises don’t look like you got them from bumping into something.”
“Were you hit? Do you need to call the police?”
Before Hannah could answer, Iris casually interrupted.
“Isn’t Axel transferring to Capital Preparatory Academy the day after tomorrow?”
Xavier blinked. “Yeah.”
“Put him in Elite Class. Have him stay close to Hannah.”
“Don’t let anyone bully her.”
Xavier immediately understood.
“No problem.” He laughed. “Honestly, that brat originally wanted to transfer into Foundation

Class to find you.”
“But if you tell him to go to Elite Class, he’ll probably be thrilled.”
Then he patted Hannah’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry. My brother’s an athlete. He’s basically made of muscle.”
“If somebody tries anything, he can definitely protect you.”
He paused.
“Though there is one problem. His brain doesn’t always work properly.”
“You’ll have to be patient.”
Iris nodded in complete agreement.
Hannah silently imagined a giant muscle-bound idiot.
Two days later.
Elite Class.
Capital Preparatory Academy.
Hannah sat at her desk, staring at the boy standing on the podium.
Sunlight streamed through the classroom windows.
The new transfer student wore a bright smile as he introduced himself.
Tall.
Handsome.
Athletic.
