Noelle didn’t even turn around. She simply lifted a hand and caught the book in midair.

When she turned back, her icy stare sliced across Janice’s face like a blade.

The next second, she flicked her wrist, sending the book back at twice the speed.

“Ah!” Janice screamed when the sharp corner scraped her cheek. “Noelle! Are you crazy? You hit me back?”
