“Do whatever I want?” Natalie repeated my word with a cold, almost cruel smile. Her gaze cut through me like a scalpel. “Landon, you used me as a shield for you and Aaliyah. You built your company on my hard work. Yet you wouldn’t even give me a real mate bond ceremony, letting me live a lie for two years under a false contract. Wasn’t that doing whatever you wanted?”
Her eyes shifted to Benjamin. “And you. For profit, you’d do anything and use any means. Haven’t you been insane for a long time?”
She took a step forward. A powerful, deep, chilling energy field spread silently from her. It wasn’t the weak signature of a Beta. It was an older, purer Alpha pressure.
“From today,” Natalie said, her voice ringing out like a final judgment, delivering the final blow to the Richardson Group, “the Richardson family doesn’t call the shots at the Richardson Group now.”
Natalie’s POV:
“Over my dead body!” Benjamin trembled with age. “Natalie, even with your shares, removing Landon and me isn’t your decision alone. The Richardson Group is owned and controlled by the Richardson family! If we initiale countermeasures, you’ll be the one leaving!”
Watching Benjamin shake and bluster, watching Landon’s face pale from shock to anger to thinly-veiled panic, I felt a cold, still calm inside
“Go ahead and try,” I said to Benjamin, glancing at the lawyers from the Scott Group-old associates of my father-beside me. “I was planning to petition the pack’s commerce tribunal and financial regulators for a full audit of the company’s books and financial records from the last three years. Let’s hope all you and Landon lose are your titles.”
No company could withstand a thorough audit, east of all the Richardson Group. Landon had misused company funds for Aaliyah since taking over, and Benjamin was hardly clean himself.
Landon’s expression changed completely. He tried emotional manipulation. “Natalie, please stop this. If you’re angry, take it out on me. My ther never treated you poorly before.”
Benjamin, like a gambler who’d lost everything, parked orders at the cowering executives and the two other shareholders. “This is a malicious power grab! The company has the right to convene an emergency Pack Elder Council to overturn her decision! Where’s our in-house counsel? Sue her now! Accuse her of using illicit neans to embezzle pack assets!”

Normally, no one dared disobey him. But today the meeting room was dead silent. Everyone looked down, avoiding his gaze. In the face of self-interest, loyalty was paper-thin.
Landon reined in his churning emotions and tried to threaten me with the Richardson Group’s “foundation,” though his tone was nearly pleading. “Natalie! I’ll do anything you want, but don’t drag the company into this. Besides, the Richardson Group’s foundation isn’t something you can shake with a few shares! You can’t even imagine our connections across the major packs and our resource channels!”
“Can’t imagine?” I repeated softly, ignoring both of them. I simply turned my head slightly and nodded to the lawyer beside me.
The lawyer stepped forward, his voice calm yet carrying undeniable pressure. “According to the pack commercial convention and the company charter, as the largest single shareholder, Ms. Anderson holds the absolute right to propose major personnel changes. As for an emergency Pack Elder Council counter-decision…”
His gaze swept over the two shareholders whose faces were shifting uneasily. “It requires a unanimous vote from all shareholding elders to initiate. Those present may now vote.”
The pressure landed squarely on the two shareholders who held the final 20% and had always followed Benjamin’s lead.
Benjamin lunged toward them, slamming the table, shouting with no remaining dignity, “Vote! What are you waiting for? Have you forgotten our years of friendship? Have you forgotten what the Richardson family has done for you?”
The two shareholders exchanged a look, sweat beading on their temples. They were old friends of the Richardson family, their interests deeply intertwined.
But now, I held half the shares. The law was on my side. More importantly, the seemingly high-tier, even top-tier Alpha bloodline pressure I radiated made them instinctively wary. In the end, the werewolf world respected strength above all.
