Natalie’s POV:

This was the first time I had heard that this place was Leonardo’s territory.

I couldn’t help but look up at him. Amusement glinted in Leonardo’s eyes, his lips quirking up slightly before pressing together again.

A single shared glance was all we needed for perfect understanding.

“So, Leonardo, you did this on purpose. The apartment was yours all along, and you still let me pay?” I whispered.

“The apartment is mine, and I am yours. Everything in my name belongs to you.” He pressed a finger gently under my chin, a smile on his lips.

Then, leaning close to my ear, he explained in a low voice.

Back then, before we were bound, I had already seen this apartment and was in the process of securing it when he arrived.
