I mentioned craving a traditional werewolf feast. Leonardo didn’t just agree-he hired the nation’s top chef to prepare a private lunch for us at the summit restaurant of Sky Tower, right next to the Sanchez Group.

The restaurant was surrounded by floor-to-ceiling mirrored windows, making me feel as if I’d stepped into a crystal palace.

But the real showstopper was the view. On the 87th floor, the tallest point in Maritime City, you could see the entire city spread out below. It was the prime spot to watch the stunning sunrise at dawn, the soft glow of sunset, and at night, the city lights twinkling like a sky full of stars.

We arrived before evening. The sky was a boundless blue. Outside the transparent windows, clouds churned and rolled, looking so close I felt I could almost touch them.

“It’s so beautiful here,” I said, gazing out. I couldn’t resist pulling out my phone and snapping a few photos from different angles.

In one shot, a faint reflection appeared-it was Leonardo and me. I was focused on capturing the clouds, while he stood quietly behind me, simply keeping me company and sharing the view I found so captivating.

After taking several pictures, I showed them to him. Without a second thought, he “stole” the best one I took, saved it, and made it his new background on his social media account- replacing the old landscape photo he’d used for years.

Before he met me, Leonardo had enjoyed scenery, too. It was his way to unwind, visiting beautiful places when he could and documenting them, a way to remind himself he was alive.

The world was beautiful, but the way he saw it was more about appreciation than true feeling. It wasn’t until he started seeing things through my eyes that all that grandeur seemed to gain a soul, becoming vivid and full of life.

The meal was served slowly. We took our time, dining for nearly two hours, long enough for the evening glow to tint the glass walls around us. The whole restaurant turned a warm shade of orange-red.

I gasped softly and immediately grabbed Leonardo’s hand, pulling him to the window to watch the sunset. We sat side by side on the viewing cushions. He had booked the entire Sky Tower for the day, so it was just the two of us, free to enjoy the view however and for as long as we wanted.

When I grew tired, I lay my head on his lap, holding his hand while we chatted. With Leonardo,

I always had so much to say. He was usually a man of few words, but whenever I spoke, he listened intently, taking everything to heart and responding thoughtfully.

We didn’t leave the restaurant until the sky had turned completely dark.

The night view from Sky Tower was also stunning, but the lawyer Leonardo had scheduled was already waiting for us at the Sanchez Group. No matter how awkward I felt about it, Leonardo was determined to go through with the asset notarization.

It didn’t take long. He had made arrangements in advance, so the lawyer had everything prepared. From that day forward, all of Leonardo’s personal assets-stocks, funds, investments, all the properties he owned along with all his shares in the Sanchez Group-would be jointly held with me.

If anything were to happen to Leonardo, I would be his sole heir.

Hearing that made me uneasy again. “Leonardo, what is all this?” I asked. “Why does it feel like you’re writing a will?”

The joint assets were one thing, but why were there insurance clauses and inheritance terms, all requiring my signature? Leonardo was still so young. Wasn’t this too early? And wouldn’t we have children someday? If we had more than one, wouldn’t his massive estate need to be divided differently?

“Since we’re here, we might as well get everything settled at once,” he said. Seeing my confusion, he smiled, gently pinched the tip of my nose, and placed a pen in my hand, guiding me as I signed.

I frowned the whole time, not really understanding but unable to refuse.

Once it was done, Leonardo finally took me on a proper tour of the Sanchez Group building. I’d been so busy with my own things before that he never had the chance to show me where he worked.

The Sanchez Group was different from the Scott Group. The Scott Group focused on pharmaceuticals; its offices were businesslike, mostly white, clean, and efficient with a standard, open layout. The Sanchez Group was the opposite. From the lobby to every floor, the decor was lavish, like stepping into a luxury hotel-incredibly comfortable.

After walking around, Leonardo made sure to show me two key spots: his private dining room and his office.

Before bonding with me, he spent most of his time at the Sanchez Group leading a simple life.

Leonardo’s POV:

I had always wanted to bring Natalie to the Sanchez Group.
