Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 1557

Don't they want you to secure your divorce settlement too? If you're in a tight spot, they'll definitely step in."

Bella nodded. She grabbed her phone and texted Brandon. If she could get the Mercer Group's PR team to monitor and pull down the hashtags, she wouldn't have to exhaust herself staring at a screen.

Right now, recovery was her priority. Everything else came second.

She sent the message, but a long time passed without a reply.

It wasn't that Brandon was ignoring her; he was simply too busy to look at his phone. Forget responding to texts—he barely had time to answer calls.

The Mercer brothers were currently touring the Winthrop family's manufacturing plant. Production for Lillionix's orders had officially begun.

Seeing the bustling activity in the Winthrop factory, Brandon felt a suffocating knot in his chest.

His own sister's money was being made, and as her brother, he wasn't getting a cut. Instead, the Winthrops were reaping all the benefits.

If he had invested in this factory early on, he would be the one cashing those checks.

The thought kept gnawing at him. He had recently shut down several of the Mercer Legacy Production Lines to scrape together his initial capital, and now he was just waiting on Tristan Winthrop to help him secure new machinery.

The Mercers had their own factories. Over the last few days, he had ordered his team to rip out all the old equipment to sell off for extra cash.
