Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 240

She reached out and touched Brandon's face, her fingers gently stroking his skin.

A smile spread across her face. "Martin, is that you, Martin? You've come to see me! You've come to see me!"

Brandon stared at his mother. Her state was unnerving. He couldn't believe that after all these years of being mentally unwell, she still remembered Martin's name.

"Mom, I'm not Dad," Brandon said, frustrated. "I'm your son, Brandon. Your eldest son. Mom, can you please get Lillian for me? Lillian listens to you. If you ask her to come out, she'll definitely come. Please, can you call her for me?"

The staff members were, in fact, doctors and nurses. Because of Eleanor's special condition, they wore regular clothes to interact with her, not uniforms.

"Mr. Mercer, you should find a moment and leave!" one of them urged. "Your presence is detrimental to Ms. Lancaster's treatment."

Forcibly restraining Eleanor would indeed be a setback for her current stage of therapy.

Just then, Lillian appeared. "Brandon!" she yelled. "Are you not satisfied until you've turned this place upside down?"

She walked toward Eleanor, gently calling out to her as she slowly got closer. "Mom…"
