Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 359

To Brandon, Sebastian’s words were music to his ears.

“Sebastian, hearing you say that is a huge relief. On behalf of Lillian, thank you.

Knowing you care so much will help her get better faster.

She doesn't really talk to us much these days. We all know you’re the one she’s always thinking about. If you could spend time with her regularly, that would be the best thing for her.”

Sebastian fully believed this. Lillian kept insisting she didn't love him anymore and had said many harsh things, but he felt none of it was sincere.

Her brother knew her best; what he said had to be the truth.

After all, how could she give up on him so easily after loving him for so long? She had worked so hard to win him over. He could only believe that she was pushing him away because she was afraid her illness would be a burden.

“Don’t worry, Brandon. For Noah’s sake, I’ll take good care of Lillian during this difficult time and help her get well soon.

It’s just… Bella…”

Brandon immediately jumped in. “Bella is known for being tolerant and understanding. She won't have a problem with this.

Sebastian, just talk to her. She’ll understand.”

Lately, Brandon had started to figure out Sabrina and Bella's game. They always maintained a facade of being kind and reasonable.

If that was the persona they had built, he could certainly use it to his advantage.

Sebastian felt a sense of relief after hearing this.

He decided not to call Bella. She would be back at the office eventually.

She wasn't in a hurry. She and her mother went to the restaurant, arranged for a private room, and carefully selected the menu.

Once everything was set, Sabrina waited in the room with a cup of tea.

Bella went upstairs to the presidential suite to personally escort Debbie down.

Because Debbie had agreed to meet Bella and her mother for lunch, the butler had woken her up ahead of time.

While the meeting was planned, staying out all night hadn't been.

Debbie had partied nearly until dawn before returning to the hotel to sleep.

She had been so exhausted that she hadn't even removed her makeup, simply changing into a nightgown before collapsing into bed. As a result, when Bella walked in, she was greeted by the sight of Debbie’s face covered in smudged, chaotic makeup.
