Lillian walked into the middle of the crowd and looked down at Sabrina. "Pathetic. You can't even protect your own child."

Her voice was so cold it sent a chill through every guest in the room.

Sabrina pointed a trembling finger at her, so enraged that she fainted on the spot.

Bella stepped forward. "Lillian, this is murder! It's a crime! Do you want to go back to prison?"

"Why would you harm my mother's baby? Why?"

Lillian replied, "Whether or not it constitutes murder is for the law to decide. You don't have that authority."

"So, you're admitting you did it?" Martin demanded. "Lillian, how could I have such a vicious daughter? That was an unborn child! Why would you be so cruel to her?"

Lillian stared at Martin, offering no words of defense.

She just looked at him. This was her own father.

Her gaze then shifted to her brothers, Brandon and Colin.
