“I was working. It’s been busy at my company lately, and I can’t afford to let things slip on my projects. How is the Mercer Group doing?”

“The company’s in a terrible state, which is why I came back to talk it over with your mother. Since you’re here too, Bella, we can discuss it with you as well.
