Following that ordeal, the elderly couple dragged Debbie Harris straight into the venue and completely tore apart the wedding.
Now, having finally seen the old couple off, Lillian let out a long breath of relief. Even so, she knew the Blake elders were still in incredibly low spirits. But for now, they needed to force themselves to rest; everything else could wait.
Back at the wedding venue, the ceremony had collapsed into total chaos. The various vendors and staff began approaching Bella to ask when the remaining balances would be settled.
Bella was in no state to deal with logistics. She just wanted to dump the entire mess onto the Mercer family. Unfortunately, Martin Mercer and his sons were shrewd; using the excuse that they needed to 'expose Lillian's fake identity,' they had already fled the scene.
Sabrina Ward frowned and asked, "How much is the remaining balance for the banquet?"
The Venue Manager looked uneasy but pressed on. "The balance isn't too large. It's just the final ten percent, which comes to the $8 million wedding balance."
"What? $8 million?" Sabrina gasped loudly. "Are you joking? Not a single bite of food at this banquet was touched. I think we should just waive this $8 million."
The Venue Manager's expression instantly darkened. "Mrs. Mercer, that's not how this works. We signed a contract beforehand. You requested the highest-tier luxury banquet, and our team spent weeks preparing it. The premium ingredients, the labor—you can't expect us to swallow that loss. Besides, this was explicitly stated in the contract. Miss Ward, what do you say?"
Bella was already furious and exhausted. She snatched her designer clutch, pulled out the limitless black card Sebastian had given her, and tossed it at the manager.
"Swipe the card and cut the nonsense. Haven't I had enough of a headache today?"
The manager caught the card, swallowing his irritation. He didn't argue further and turned around to run the payment. A minute later, he realized the transaction wouldn't go through. The card had been frozen.
"Shut up," Bella snapped fiercely. "Do you honestly think I carry millions in cash on me on my wedding day? Relax, you'll get your money. Don't think you can kick me while I'm down just because of a little drama. Even if my reputation took a hit today, I am still Sebastian Blake's legally recognized wife. I am not someone you can easily mock. Come to the Blake Group in a couple of days to collect your money."
With that, Bella snatched the black card out of the manager's hand, grabbed her mother's arm, and stormed out. Considering the massive Blake Group was backing her, the manager wasn't too worried about collecting the late payment eventually.
As soon as they were outside, Sabrina asked frantically, "Bella, if Sebastian really froze all your accounts, does that mean he's dead set on divorcing you? What are we going to do? We worked so hard to get you to this day, to get you into a wealthy family!"
Bella gritted her teeth. "What are you afraid of? We already got our marriage license. If we divorce, I get half his net worth. We'll be completely financially free for the rest of our lives."
At that exact moment, Bella had absolutely no idea that Sebastian had tricked her into signing The Blake Pre-Nuptial Agreement. If they divorced, she wouldn't see a single dime!
